December 12, 2023The girls in the office are wonderful. I have seen them actually help a mom find her child that ran off. They made the moving-in process super easy to understand and maneuver. Excellent Support from the Administration office
November 10, 2022Just moved into Yorkshire Apartments and has been a pretty easy process. Sean (Administrative Office) provided an excellent support and guidance on everything required and needed. From the contract establishment and signing to a couple of maintenance issues identified before I moved in, that were resolved immediately, and Sean followed up diligently to make sure that happened. Typical Complex
October 26, 2022It’s your typical apartment complex when it comes to set up. The pools kept clean and even with all the kids out of school for summer it’s not as busy as you’d think. Sean in the office made the process of moving in easy and has always been very quick to get service requests taken care of. There’s always going to be something someone doesn’t like about a place but all in all I don’t mind it here it’s quieter than I expected.Property Manager Responded

Not good.
October 20, 2021The people who have lived here for awhile can't wait to leave. People like me who are new (almost a year) are disappointed with just about everything. Parking is awful, unassigned, flooded over, in the parking lanes all the time. Took two months to get the W/D they promised. Took six months for them to get my storage in the basement cleared out. Dirty, dark and cheap renovations. Plus the office help gets snippy. My advice: keep looking.Property Manager Responded

Landscaping? This is what the tenants wants?
October 20, 2021The parking situation is beyond inconvenient and into outright dangerous. All of the fire lanes are filled with cars. People store cars (covers and all) close to my building entrance so I am forced to park a block away. You can't see the lines between the parking spots. Then to add insult to injury, the plow will just push snow up against your car rather than moving it away from vehicles towards a vacant area. Terrible. And they just took down a dozen big, healthy beautiful trees to put up shrubs ...and heaths right where the kids play catch. I thought they were clearing trees to add parking, but that would have actually been a smart choice, not a Village East choice.Property Manager Responded

Renters Beware
January 17, 2021Yorkshire Realty has poor property management and slow maintenance response time. I have had several issues while leasing and the agency has not responded quickly if they even respond. I have reached out to property management on multiple occasions due to disruptive noise from other tenants and have yet to receive a response. I was told by the leasing office that it isn’t their responsibility to deal with noise and to contact the property manager. I have twice now and still have not received any ...response or an acknowledgment of receipt of the email. Additionally, several maintenance tickets I submitted were ignored for a problem. This has been a constant source of frustration where I feel the leasing agency drags their feet on problems issues but still collect rent. While I understand COVID may have some impact, the total lack of communication is unacceptable.Property Manager Responded

HORRIBLE
February 25, 2019These apartments are horrible. There is a big cockroach issue in almost all of the apartments and If you move into some of the apartments in here the lighting is dark and dingy in the living room. To be fair, this is not all of the apartments. If you have children, don't bring them here. The kids here are not friendly. They are very disrespectful and loud. Trust me, the kids are trouble makers. The trees fall and may smash your car window. The manager says that there is nothing that she can do ...and it is an act of god. It has happened more than once in here. The parking is very hard to get, and people break rules and nothing is done about it. I promise, there are places for the same price of better quality. Awful
September 14, 2018This place is awful. I have a pending maintenance request as of this writing that I put in over a week ago and haven't heard a word. Sent an email to the leasing office about it and haven't gotten a response from anyone. The apartment is literally falling apart. Both the shower and the bathtub are cracking and peeling, the bathroom door will not shut all the way, and the sliding glass door is rigged because the handle is broken. The windows are single pane and don't even seal properly. During the ...winter time they are very slow to shovel/clear the snow. Home sweet home!
March 3, 2016I moved in my apartment in August and I love my apartment! Staff is always ready to assist you, maintenance is taken care of promptly. I consider my apartment my sanuary. The maintenance staff did an excellent job with the snow this winter. I am so glad moved here!! Could never imagine living any place else.
