I lived here for 3 years, avoid this place!
October 25, 2025Zona village continually worsened over the 3-year period I was there. The problem mostly stemmed from changes in management. Given that this place is a bit on the more expensive side, they have a lot of empty apartments. And what I observed is that they will try every trick to force you into longer leases because you are one of the few paying customers they actually have. And for that higher price, you are not getting better service. The management is almost impossible to reach by phone, twice I ...had to contact corporate just to have someone call me back. If you do not work during the daytime you can go downstairs to speak to them, but even then sometimes they're nowhere to be found for hours and even when they are in their offices they will actually make you wait exceedingly long times before asking what you even need. And I don't want to forget to mention the dog poop. This entire apartment is covered in dog poop. There is dog poop in the elevators there is dog poop in the stairwells, there is dog pooped in the halls, there's dog poop in the parking lot. They have people who come and clean but they don't clean all the poop and the poop continually accumulates. I also forgot to mention that it's not particularly safe, there are a lot of vagrants that casually stroll through the parking garage and first floor of the units or sometimes there are doors that are easy for them to access and come inside. I lived here for 3 years and I will say every year got worse and I was happy when I left. Avoid this place is my recommendation.Property Manager Responded

September 2, 2025The dogs in the building will not stop barking and the gym equipment needs a major tune up. Overall everything else is great, I do think the coffee in the lobby should be free.Property Manager Responded

August 26, 2025Overall, we like living in this community. The Davie area is nice, not too busy. The complex itself is decent, nice pool area, small but efficient gym. There are some areas that need an improvement such as parking garage safety and guest parking.Property Manager Responded

August 15, 2025living at Zona has been a great experience, it’s very clean and spacious and quiet. I love all of the amenities, including the pool and the gym and all of my neighbors are very nice and quiet. The city that I live in is amazing there’s so much to do in Davie. The only thing I don’t love is that sometimes the management staff is slow to respond and the garage gates are usually broken and the package room can be a little messy.Property Manager Responded

August 11, 2025Moving into this apartment has been a smooth and positive experience overall. The leasing process was straightforward, with clear communication from the management team. On move-in day, the staff was helpful and responsive, making sure everything was ready for me. The unit was clean, freshly painted, and exactly as described in the listing. Appliances are in good working order, and the layout makes the space feel open and comfortable. The building itself is well-maintained, with secure entry and ...common areas kept tidy. Parking and access to amenities were explained clearly, which made settling in much easier. Any small maintenance requests I had were addressed quickly. So far, the neighborhood feels safe and convenient, with grocery stores, public transportation, and dining options close by.
