DO NOT RENT HERE
April 28, 2019I’ve lived at this place for 2 weeks and have never been more dissatisfied. To start, I had to call over a dozen times to get a leasing agent to draft our lease. They sent the lease over incorrectly the night before my move in - and waited on my lease to be correctly co-signed by Kayla the night prior to my move in date. Aside from being incredibly frustrating it is completely unprofessional. It appears as though Kayla is the only one that is authorized to make any decisions and when you are ...trying to get in contact with her she is either out “on vacation,” “out to lunch” and “is behind on paperwork.” The second week of living here, my air conditioner broke and it took 5 days to “fix.” I had to leave the city of tucson to be able to stay in a comfortable environment. Upon returning, the temperate is my apartment was 89 degrees and set at 87. Absolutely ridiculous and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. For paying a premium price to live in Tucson, Arizona you would expect to receive premium customer service - and Encantada Tucson National falls short in every aspect.Property Manager Responded

Beautiful and peaceful place
March 16, 2019Well maintained and peaceful complex with a resort feel and city and mountain views. Friendly, caring front office staff. Any maintenance issue that I have had has been taken care of in a reasonable time frame. was great when it wasn't fully occupied - NOT so much now.
September 4, 2018Now that they have a high occupancy rate, beware that 1) they will jack your rent with each lease renewal and 2) they continue to focus on turning over any empty apartments and do not maintain the amenities (some things have been broken for months) nor do they provide oversight to the landscaping contractors as there are weeds everywhere, many dead plants (see palm tree at small pool) which is why so many things were damaged this monsoon season. As another example, watch out for hanging roof ...tiles that have been reported and could fall on your head but are left for months with no actionProperty Manager Responded

Run dont walk away!
June 15, 2018Abandon all hope ye who enter here! Marketed as luxury housing; putting a TV on every blank wall and a fountain in the pool doesn't make it luxury. The only good thing about Encantada is the coffee. The pools and grounds are lovely and well maintained they look good, but the apartments are blah. Granite counters but very cheap cabinets, finishes and fixtures. Faucets are so cheap they pit and look nasty. Cheap laminate floors in dark color that show all dirt and lint and that always look dirty. ...Appliances are bottom of the line and are always broken, which makes it worse because they usually don't fix them; they just move defective appliances from one apartment to another. An incompetent manager who alienates tenants, lies constantly, and smiles through her teeth while doing it. Expect 20% annual rent increases on already overpriced rents. Expect hidden charges at every turn. Don't expect to get your refundable security deposit back without a lawsuit. Most staff except for their incompetent manager are friendly and helpful but they cannot do the right thing because they live in constant fear of her. If there is a problem, the property manager will not return phone calls. When you ask for her supervisor, you are given a phone number for HSL properties, the parent company with a recorded message to leave your number, and your call would be returned within 24 hours; but don't hold your breath, they don't return calls either. Run, don't walk away from here. Beautiful grounds, great amenities when they actually work, heated main pool but not heated enough to use in winter months. Very high turnover, few stay beyond 1 lease term and snow birds who do not return. There is much better out there; consider other non-HSL properties.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
