Atlanta is a beautiful city, and it would behoove any apartment-ite to experience that beauty for themselves, but just where in the city is the best place to get a look at this city's gorgeous skyline? If you want to enjoy one of the best views in all of Atlanta, while also enjoying some of its most delectable cuisine Atlanta, make your way over (or should I say, up) to Nikolai's Roof, on the thirtieth floor of the Hilton Atlanta. This sky-high view of the ATL is one of the best you're likely to get anywhere, and the food is certainly nothing to scoff at either. It's not all about the view at Nikolai's, though it's certainly a nice addition to any dining experience. What really makes Nikolai's sing is their delicious dishes, made with only the freshest and most natural ingredients. Appetizers include a trio of piroshkis, filled with pintade (guinea fowl), beef tenderloin and salmon, Hawaiian blue prawns with Yukon gold potatoes, compote of yellow beets, micro greens, served with a violet mustard sauce, carpaccio of beef tenderloin, tondo balasamic and quail egg, or pan-seared foie gras a la Normande. When it comes time for the main course, you can try one of their more traditional items, such as Maine Lobster and Dover Sole, with Yukon potato mouselline, braised leeks, and North Sea grey shrimp in a sherry foam, roasted pheasant breast with confit of pheasant leg, winter vegetable ragout, and provencale potatoes in a rosemary reduction, beef tenderloin or rack of lamb, or you can try one of their more original dishes, like their boar tenderloin, served with foie gras, in a star anis demi glace, served with Washington apple chips. For desert, go for their Grand Mariner souffle with orange almond creme fresh, or the Vahlrona chocolate tart with brown sugar ice cream. Take in the beauty of Atlanta, and eat some of the best cuisine in town, all at once at Nikolai's Roof. Apartment-ites will find that the gorgeous atmosphere and delectable food make it a nearly unbeatable experience for a dinner out on the town.
