Beautiful natural parks for residents of Sacramento apartments to visit are the Sunrise Recreation Areas, the Upper and Lower sections, all year round. Sunrise Recreation Area apartments are conveniently close to all the amenities of this wonderful park. With fishing, rafting, horseback riding and hiking trails all available, you can come any day of the year. The Upper beach has a boat launch for Sunrise Recreation Area apartment dwellers to use, on which a raft or small recreational boat can be put in. The river is swift, so use caution. Also at the upper end is the historic Fair Oaks Bridge, seen in a movie or two, and amazing hike and bike trails. Lower beach is more for the animal lover, with equestrian staging areas found here, and great fishing from the Jim Jones Bridge where no cars are allowed, only cyclists, pedestrians and horses. If it's your first time to visit, you and your friends should bring your bikes from your Sacramento apartments. The long but fabulous Jedediah Smith Memorial Bike Trail is entered most frequently at the lower end, but the trail extends all the way to Upper Sunrise. Picnics are allowed here, but tell your friends to leave their beer at their Sunrise Recreation area apartments because alcohol is prohibited. Admission to the park is free, but a parking rate of $5 per vehicle and $2.50 per small boat launch is applied. Try not to forget your money in your Sacramento apartment, as even though an attendant may not be present, everyone is expected to pay.
