The décor is mostly eclectic, but the atmosphere and service are pretty upscale. As it's in the University District on King Avenue, it usually tends to be pretty busy, so get here early if you want a good table. One of the more popular times to come here is for the Saturday brunch (and includes dishes such as oyster mushroom calamari), but the restaurant maintains a relaxed coffeehouse vibe, showcasing local art, live music and hosting regular community events.
