The mansion, named Eden Brae, was built in 1910 and has five separate apartments, each with its own private entrance, situated on Cliff Road, one of the most desirable and walkable residential streets in the city of Birmingham. Combining a mix of vintage and modern, this apartment is full of style. It features a king-size bed, a twin daybed, a hanging area and shelves, and a TV. The well-stocked kitchenette has everything you might need for a short-term stay, including a full fridge/freezer, convection toaster oven, induction burner, and a microwave. The bathroom is stocked with small-batch, organic toiletries and plush towels. Fast Wi-Fi, books and games, and a shared laundry room with a washer/dryer and detergent are available. Enjoy the Eden Brae's beautiful outdoor spaces, including an expansive front porch, fire pit, screened-in dining lounge, natural gas grill, foosball, cornhole, hammocks and fountains. Dogs are allowed. Eden Brae is just a couple of miles from most of Birmingham's most popular attractions: Railroad Park, the Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Avondale, Sloss Furnace, the Art Museum, Regions Field, Vulcan Park, and Downtown's Entertainment and Civil Rights Districts. All are easily accessible by bike or by car/Lyft/Uber. Just a few blocks away, you will find parks, restaurants, coffee, golf, and tennis! Events and gatherings are not allowed in single apartments; to host an event, inquire about renting the whole house. Quiet hours are observed from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, marijuana, or any other substance, is not permitted inside the unit, in common areas, or within 25 feet of entrances or windows. If smoking occurs, a $200 base remediation fee will be charged. If additional cleaning, deodorization, linen replacement, HVAC treatment, or other remediation is required, the guest is responsible for the full cost. Guests who do not adhere to the quiet hours policy may be asked to leave, without a refund, forfeiting any remaining nights on their reservation. The primary bedroom is luxurious, with its one-of-a-kind, antique gold bed. It is a king-size and has an incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress and soft, breathable Comphy sheets. The guest bedroom has two full-size beds, each with a memory foam mattress. The bathroom is spacious and spa-like with built-in cabinets for plenty of storage and an updated shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality pots, pans, and accessories, as well as a dishwasher. For coffee and tea, there is a French press coffee maker, burr grinder, electric kettle, locally roasted whole bean coffee, and assorted teas and cocoa.
