Dallas apartment-ites known that Sundance Square in Fort Worth is full of delicious and fun restaurants and clubs for the taking, so once you reach the square, you've got to make the big decision of just which of the many clubs and eateries along the way are right for you. Billy Miner's Saloon is perfect for those looking for the best burger in town, and some say in Texas, and has the rustic feel of the old west, fitting in perfectly with the rest of the great cow town. The wood-paneled walls are covered with pictures from the earlier days, all black and white and solemn, but there's nothing solemn about this western-themed bar and grill. It's so far and away from the pretense and elitism present in so many of the other clubs and bars around Dallas, that it'll feel just like home. For good-ole-boys and -girls, there's no place better to grab a bite or take in a few suds. Miner's is the place to go for a casual environment that thrives on making folks comfortable and happy. All of the food is delicious here, but what really keeps the customers coming is the burgers. Called the best burger in the country by many, and you can see why. The beef is smokey and cooked through well, and comes out on a bun made right in the restaurant. It also comes in two separate sizes, eight or four ounces, but no matter what the size, you're not going to walk out upset. If you get the basket deal, you'll get a heaping helping of fries and a cold drink. If burgers aren't your speed, you can try their catfish or grilled chicken , or a sandwich made with either one. To wash it all down, there are plenty of options, from iced tea, to soft drinks, and of course several kinds of ice cold beer. To get the best prices in town on beers, make sure to come in at happy hour, weekdays from 4 to 8, to get $1.75 drafts and wells. The rustic feel of old Texas is still alive at this Sundance saloon, with some of the best burgers in town, as well as some great beer specials. Dallas apartment-ites looking for a real feel of Texas food and environment need look no further than Billy Miner's Saloon.
