The fully stocked kitchen includes a blender, drip coffee machine with grinder, Keurig machine, cake mixer, pots, pans, oven, serving trays, crockpot, rice maker, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, oven, stove, and refrigerator with filtered drinking water and ice maker. Dining and entertaining spaces include a dining table with seating for up to 10 guests, a spacious kitchen island perfect for cooking and socializing, a built-in breakfast nook with seating for 6, and an enclosed patio area ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails while overlooking breathtaking sound sunsets. We welcome dogs only for a fee of $150 per pet per stay, with a maximum of 3 dogs each weighing up to 50 lbs. A pet fee will be applied to cover the cleaning of pet hair, and an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged if any waste beyond hair is found. The pool heater incurs a daily fee of $125 plus tax, and must be booked and paid for the duration of your stay. The pool is closed and covered seasonally from November to March. Duck is home to midges, tiny seasonal bugs that are harmless and do not bite, but they can appear in large numbers. To keep them out, it is recommended to keep doors closed as much as possible and turn off outdoor lights at night, as light attracts them. Bug spray is a great idea for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Additionally, snakes from the nearby marsh can occasionally be spotted. If you see one on the property, contact us immediately, and we will arrange for animal control to remove it. The primary renter must be 21+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited. No parties or events are allowed, and quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, and any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest. Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas, and no dogs are allowed in the pool. Only park in designated areas, with a maximum of 4 vehicles allowed. Children under 18 must be supervised at all times when using the pool or spa. BBQ and fireplace must be operated by responsible adults only. No firearms, fireworks, or hazardous materials are allowed on the property.
