The peaceful sounds of the rapids across the river, the birds' song, and the pleasure of floating the river await. A car is a necessity in the Hill Country. The property is out in the country 10 miles west of the town of Llano, which is 70 miles west of Austin. A great barbecue and general store are 8 miles west in the village of Castell, TX. Live music is about 30 miles northwest at Hilltop Cafe. The Llano area has 4 wineries and a distillery to visit. Unauthorized parties and events are not allowed without prior written approval. Smoking is not allowed, with a minimum smoking fee of $300, but the total charge may be higher if the property's condition renders it temporarily unrentable. Shooting firearms or weaponry is prohibited on the property. Fireworks are not allowed. There is a fire pit on site for guest use, and a fine of up to $500 will be charged for burning during a burn ban. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. For health, safety, and maintenance reasons, pets are strictly prohibited from entering the pool, and a $500 fine will be charged if this rule is violated.
