Located above the garage, the loft features large windows that flood the space with natural light, offering south-facing views of historic Elma Street. Enjoy the convenience of being steps away from coffee shops, art and yoga studios, boutiques, and more. This cozy loft is full of character, featuring a queen bed with a privacy curtain, a futon-style sofa bed, and a charming secret play nook for kids. The simple kitchen includes a Keurig machine, oven, stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, and kettle, along with a dining table that seats three. Enjoy fresh coffee and a small workspace with Wi-Fi, but note that there is no TV, just peace and quiet. The loft also includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. Enjoy free parking on the driveway and street. Pets are allowed with a pet fee charged per pet, plus any additional cleaning needed. The Local Loft is ideally situated just a 5-10 minute walk from restaurants, bars, and shops, and a 35-minute drive from downtown Calgary (Stampede). For those looking to explore further, it's a 25-minute drive to High River Hospital and South Health, and a 1.5-hour drive to Banff. Surrounded by nature and frequent deer sightings, this is a peaceful retreat just outside the city. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please remove your shoes at the entranceway, and note that no overnight guests are allowed unless included in the booking. A clean home is a happy home, so please clean your dishes before you go. If the home is left in an exceptionally messy state, a $60 fee will be charged for every extra hour of cleaning required. Early check-in or late check-out is available for an additional $50 per hour, subject to approval and availability. Pets are allowed with a pet fee, and smoking indoors or near windows is prohibited, resulting in a $1000 fee for violations. Parties or excessive noise are not allowed, with a $1000 fee for misbehavior. Be mindful of water use with more than two people, as the hot water is minimal. The loft includes a small workspace with a desk and chair, along with Wi-Fi for your remote work needs. A laptop computer is not included.
