Overlook the Highland Mountains as you gather in the big room for connection over a home-cooked meal, board game, or movie night. The house has big picture windows facing West for dramatic views of nature and Montana's wild beauty. Handmade, rustic wood accent pieces blend with attractive comfortable furniture and classic contemporary and folk art. The large and spacious fully equipped kitchen overlooks the great room containing the open-layout dining space and living rooms. The kitchen has everything from pots and pans and utensils to spices and coffee and tea. One of the favorite features of the kitchen is two sinks as well as two stove tops (6 burners total), making it easy to cook and enjoy family meals together. There are 3 traditional bedrooms in our home, each with West-facing windows. Two queen bedrooms have small TVs, and the master bedroom has a desk and an en-suite bathroom with both shower and deep and long soaking bathtub. The two queen bedrooms share a bathroom that has a shower tub combination. A washer and dryer are on-site, and laundry detergent is provided. Pets are welcome with a fee of $50 per pet per stay. Horses are allowed for longer stays at $150 per horse per month. You need to bring your own hay, and there is a creek for water. This is a must-stay with both inside and outside beauty. Warm in the winter, cool summer nights. Access to local, hidden hot springs and Thompson Park for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. There are also close-by horse trail rides and hunting expedition trips. The home is 9 minutes from the quaint town of Whitehall that has a grocery store, saloons, gift shops, gas, and everything you need. Get away for hunting, fishing, day trips to Lewis & Clark caverns, Butte and Bozeman areas. Enjoy mountain views, wildlife sightings, horse corrals and an arena. There is cross country skiing and hiking. Very clean shoes or shoe-free on light carpets, low fragrance (do not use any cleaning, sprays or fabric softeners with fragrances). With previous written permission, family gatherings that consist of more than the registered guests are open to discussion. [SI]
