Nearby attractions include Lake Wateree State Park (14 miles), perfect for hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, and spotting bald eagles; Century House (5 miles), a historic Greek Revival plantation home; Ridgeway Historic District (6 miles), a quaint downtown with preserved architecture; Isaac C. Thomas Historical Museum (6 miles); and Wateree Recreation Area (15 miles).
