You're just moments from Portland favorites like Ken’s Bakery (2 min walk), Trader Joe’s (4 min), pet-friendly Couch Park (4 min walk), Salt & Straw, and other fun stores and restaurants on NW 23rd Avenue. Hospitals and transit are close by: a 3 min walk to the Tri-Met MAX station, and an 11 min walk to Legacy Good Samaritan. This building is a condo unit building with friendly residents. The courtyard is shared with all residents, and no smoking is allowed in the courtyard. The building is fob entry only. Due to the Embassy building's historic designation, smart locks with keypads or lockboxes are not permitted outside the building. Guests will need to use a call box to be buzzed in and download an app to access the unit for initial check-in. A physical key and fob will be available after check-in. Guests are asked to arrange to arrive between 3pm and 8pm for initial check-in. Trash and recycling are located on the ground floor. In the event of a lockout, assistance is only available during business hours of 9am to 7pm. Guests are financially responsible for lodging or re-entry if locked out outside of business hours due to lost or left-behind keys. No smoking or vaping is allowed indoors; outside only. Early check-in or late checkout requests cannot be accommodated. Children under the age of 13 are not to be left unattended. Guests may not have more than 8 people in the home at any time. For stays of 30+ days, initial paper products and cleaning products are provided, but guests are responsible for restocking once they run out. Bodily fluid cleanup will result in a $500 additional cleaning fee. Guests must put only toilet paper in the toilet; no feminine products, flushable wipes, or makeup wipes. If anything other than toilet paper is discovered in sewer lines, guests agree to pay a $500 plumbing fee or more if damage is more significant. In inclement weather when temperatures drop below 32 degrees F, guests shall open all cabinets under sinks and turn on heaters in rooms, and leave water in all taps on a slight drip. Guests who fail to follow this rule causing pipes to burst or freeze agree to pay for damages. There is no snow removal service at the property. Host is available for questions between 9am and 5pm PST for non-emergency questions/help, typically replying within 2 hours. Host is available 24/7 for emergencies such as fire, flood/pipe burst, medical events, all toilets not working, active break-in or burglary, power outage, earthquake, or wildfire evacuation. In the event of an emergency, guests should call appropriate authorities then notify the host. Issues brought up after checkout will not be granted refunds. Cleanliness issues must be brought up within 24 hours of arrival. Guests who do not take trash out on trash day during their stay agree to pay a $50 disposal fee.
