Main Street Placerville is just a short stroll from the hotel, offering a delightful array of antique shops, art galleries, coffee shops, and local eateries. The Placerville Historical Museum and the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Authority are also within walking distance. Hangtown's Gold Bug Park & Mine and Boeger Winery are a short drive away. Smoking in the hotel will result in a minimum charge of $300, and the guest will be asked to vacate the room without a refund. Quiet hours are from 9 P.M. to 8 A.M.
