Located only a few miles from Spearfish’s quaint downtown and historic commercial district, you'll find restaurants, shops, galleries, and art centers. Outdoor lovers can easily access Spearfish Canyon and Roughlock Falls (15 miles to the southwest) for hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives. Explore nearby Bridal Veil Falls, Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, and Needles Highway, or take a short drive to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Deadwood. The closest airport is Black Hills Airport (SPF)—a general aviation field just about 4 miles east of Spearfish. For commercial flights, the nearest major airport is Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP), located approximately 50 miles southeast of Spearfish. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment ($500 fine). No parties or events are allowed ($1,000 fine).
