Enjoy a magical family retreat and feel at home in this 6-bedroom, 5-bath home that sleeps 13, just minutes from Disney’s parks. This home features a private pool with optional heat and lounge chairs, a game room with a pool table, ping pong table and games, a full kitchen, two living areas, and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The large full kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, ample counter space, and everything needed for home-cooked meals. Two spacious living areas provide room for gathering, with a dedicated loft that feels like a private cinema. If you would like pool heat and/or hot tub, it must be requested in writing a week prior to check-in (as it requires up to 24 hours to heat) for $35 per day of usage. Additional fees may apply if a week's notice is not given. Located in the Windsor Island community of Davenport, this home is just 20–25 minutes from Disney World, 30 minutes from SeaWorld, and 35 minutes from Universal Studios. The convenient distance makes it easy to return for a midday break or an early-morning dip. Windsor Island Resort is a newly constructed community with first-class amenities. The property is just a couple minutes walking distance to the clubhouse. In the immediate area outside the resort, you will find ample shopping, dining, and entertainment. Located off state road 192 and US 27, and near I-4, it's just eight miles from Disney World, Animal Kingdom, and Orlando’s world-famous attractions. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a camera by the front door, another one pointing to the driveway, and a last one pointing to the pool equipment. These aren't intended to record guests but are installed for security purposes. Up to two cars may park side-to-side in the driveway in front of the garage. Please don't park on the grass, or alongside the streets parallel to another vehicle. If you need an additional parking spot, there's a section in the community called Lava Tree Dr where you can find extra parking spots for overflow parking. During the day, you can park in the Clubhouse parking lot, but overnight parking is not permitted. There is absolutely no smoking and no drugs allowed inside the home or elsewhere on the property. The home can accommodate a maximum of 15 guests at any given time. Only the number of guests indicated on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight on-premise, unless otherwise agreed upon in written form. The garage has been converted into a game room, therefore, indoor parking is not available. By booking this reservation, guests agree and acknowledge that Windsor Island Resort will have areas of ongoing construction. Though most areas leading up to the property are cleared, be mindful of any construction vehicles and debris. This does not impact the clubhouse as amenities are fully open and available for use. In sunny Florida, with beautiful weather and greenery, come humidity and bugs. These elements are a natural and very common occurrence. The property is professionally sprayed for pests, but remember to pack sunscreen and bug spray. In the event you stay beyond the original scheduled check-out time, you may incur a fee of up to $300. Feel safe and right at home when you enter the resort, which is located within a gated community and secured by a 24-hour security guard. The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each guest. During inclement (cold and/or rainy) weather it is not advised to use the pool. After it rains, there may be some debris that wash into the pool, which may cause the water to appear slightly discolored. It is a self-catering home, therefore, supplies are not refilled during your stay. Each bathroom will have shampoo/conditioner, body wash, a single roll of toilet paper, and hand soap. In the laundry room there are enough detergent pods for up to two loads. In the kitchen, a paper towel roll, a couple of trash bags, dishwashing detergent, and sponge. There is a coffee maker, however coffee is not provided. Salt/pepper and cooking oil are available for use. If anything is missing, please let the host know immediately upon check in so they can arrange restocking. [SI]
