The living space is open and easy to navigate, perfect for relaxing. Upstairs, the deck provides wide views, comfortable seating, and a gas fire pit for enjoyable evenings. Downstairs, a long table is ideal for meals and a game of cornhole can be played in the shade. An elevator is available for a fee, with a weight limit of 500 pounds, running between floors. A golf cart, seating six, is also available for hire. Licensed drivers are required to operate the golf cart. This home is situated in a laid-back stretch of the Texas coast where the road runs flat and the Gulf stays close. Homes sit on stilts, the breeze moves steadily, and the beach is wide and open, allowing for driving onto much of the shoreline. Local seafood spots, small markets, and beach supply stores are a short drive away, offering a simple, easy atmosphere built for slow days by the water. Absolutely no smoking is permitted inside or outside the house. No parties or events are allowed. Please do not park under the house; park only on the concrete driveway and be careful not to hit the pilings. Maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay. Keep noise to a minimum during nighttime hours. Do not move any furniture, indoor or outdoor. Grilling is permitted only on the patio area downstairs; grilling on the deck is prohibited. Please clean the grill after use. Rinse sand off in the shower under the house or on available water hoses and leave sandy shoes on the deck by the front door. Do not flush feminine hygiene products or anything other than what is expected down the toilet, as it will damage the septic system. Do not pour grease down the drains. If guests are asked to leave due to irresponsible and bad behavior, no refund will be given for lost days.
