This is a furnished, private, 131 Sq/Ft bedroom located on the second floor of the Cary House at Salem Art Works, in Salem, NY 12865. Includes the use of all living areas within the house, but does not include the use of any other part of the campus, including studios, shops, buildings, etc. Artist studios and shop spaces are available separately. Rent is $500/month plus a security deposit. Includes all utilities; the house is heated by a wood stove. Tenant is required to help with household chores, including cleaning, and bringing in firewood during the winter heating months. Please provide some information about yourself and include two references from your previous residences. No pets. 35 minutes to North Bennington, VT 35 minutes to Manchester, VT 41 minutes to Glens Falls, NY 43 minutes to Saratoga Springs, NY There is currently one other resident in the house, with a possibility for a third. Please not that the current resident sometimes has nightmares that make him yell in his sleep. This would not be an ideal situation for a light sleeper. Salem Art Works is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art center and sculpture park located in rural Upstate New York. Founded in 2005 by artist Anthony Cafritz, Salem Art Works is dedicated to supporting both emerging and established artists in the creation of new and progressive work, as well as promoting the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art within the region.
