The home will be shared with one other person- a young female professional- who is renting the third-floor bed and bathroom of this grand house. **Master Suite (Second Floor - Black bed frame and jute rug in photos)** This large, sunny master suite has two closets (one walk-in) and a large on-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The room also includes a mini office space in the window bump-out area with a desk and a chair. A TV and leather lounge chair bring added comfort the suite. Three large south-facing windows provide plenty of natural light with both curtains and blinds for privacy. **Shared Spaces** Movie & Lounge Room (Second Floor): This cozy space is outfitted with a large TV, a single day bed, a desk, and (we're biased) the best jungle wallpaper! Study & Rooftop Balcony (Third Floor): This room features bookshelves and a desk, perfect for work or quiet time. It connects to a top-floor balcony with beautiful views of Crispus Attucks Park. The balcony includes lights, built-in speakers, and is available for use. Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room (First Floor): The kitchen is fully equipped with an island, two ovens, a gas cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of cooking gadgets (air fryer, Instant Pot, blender, etc.). You’ll also find full dishware, flatware, and wine glasses. The kitchen opens up to a plant-filled sunroom, a large living room, and dining room—all tastefully decorated and perfect for relaxing or spending time with others. Backyard: The house has a stylish, newly designed, backyard space that backs directly onto the park. **Neighborhood Details** Bloomindale is a safe and beautiful neighborhood with tons of historic charm. It has a very residential feel, and is walking distance to many coffee shops and restaurants including popular spots like Big Bear Café and Red Hen. Howard/ Shaw stop is the closest metro and bus lines are conveniently accessed a block away at V and North Capital. Location is also walking distance to Washington Hospital Center and Children’s National Hospital. **Other Details** • Tenant to pay 25% of utilities (~ $150 /month including electric, gas, water, compost and high-speed wifi) • One month deposit required • Available 4/1/26 with 5 to12 month lease terms available • Application fee is $35 • Unfortunately, strictly no pets allowed • On-street parking is generally always available • Homeowners may visit town (infrequently) during the lease term and will stay in one of the other bedrooms in the house.
