Then there is South Pasadena itself, a neighborhood that already feels like a movie set where everyone owns a bicycle and knows which booth they like at brunch. You are close to the shops and cafés along Mission Street, coffee at Jones or Lost Parrot, Thursday evenings at the South Pasadena Farmers Market, the historic Fair Oaks Pharmacy and Soda Fountain, Garfield Park and the Metro A Line when you want someone else to do the driving.
