Located on the 2nd floor and accessible by elevator, this beachfront paradise offers breathtaking Gulf views from its spacious balcony overlooking the resort and beach. This beautifully appointed condo features a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy guest bedroom and bathroom, a dining area, and a living area with plush seating. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Modern amenities, high-quality furnishings, and coastal accents create a comfortable and charming ambiance. Resort amenities include pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and a fitness center. Direct beach access is available. Parking information and rules are available in the house manual. Guests can choose from various transportation options including walking, biking, car rental, trolley service, rideshare services, and public transportation. El Matador is situated in a charming neighborhood on Okaloosa Island, Florida, offering direct access to sugar-white sandy beaches and breathtaking ocean views. The neighborhood is well-connected and close to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Nearby attractions include Okaloosa Island Beach Access Seven - Emerald Promenade Beachwalk, and the cities of Fort Walton Beach and Destin are a short drive away. Construction is currently ongoing, and the balcony and east stairwell are off-limits while being refreshed. The nightly rate has been lowered to reflect this temporary inconvenience. Guests must check out by 10 am, with a $50 fine for late check-out and a $25 fee for each extended hour if approved. Guests must notify the host of their expected arrival time at least 6 hours in advance. The property is equipped with a Minut Smart Home Sensor to monitor noise levels. Guests must remove shoes inside the home. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Guests agree to pay for any damage made to the property. Host or Host's Agent may enter the property at any time in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours’ notice for normal maintenance. Host shall not be liable for personal items left behind. Guests must dispose of food in the trash can and use the garbage disposal for small food remnants only. Guests shall not re-key or change out door locks. If guests lock themselves out, they are responsible for the locksmith fee. All items in the kitchen have been counted, and any item removed from premises will be charged to the guest. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home to hide stains. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning. Guests must be 22 years of age or older at the time of booking. Pets are NOT allowed. No events or vendors are permitted. Guests must report hazardous items to avoid an accident. The property is not child-proofed. Guests agree to pay any documented loss of host income created by Guest violating house rules. The cost to replace any lost or damaged keys is $25 per key. Guests agree to pay for plumber's time if the garbage disposal is damaged or clogged by the guest. Guests must keep the property in the same condition throughout their stay. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Guests are not to use regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Housekeeping will wash all laundry. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest. Smoking is prohibited, and guests agree to pay a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered. Maximum occupants are noted in the booking unless approved in writing by the host/manager. If Guest exceeds the occupancy, all guests will be immediately evicted without refund.
