“I had an excellent experience living in this apartment. The space is clean, organized, comfortable, and very well-maintained. The location is great—quiet and with easy access to everything needed for daily life. Rafael, who works in administration, was always attentive and helpful, quickly resolving any issues. Good for a first apartment or if you're on a tight budget

The day I moved in, the apartment not only came with a cockroach problem (which I honestly expected -- it's Florida), but the washing machine was full of dirty rags left behind by the previous tenant. So, they gave us the apartment DIRTYYYYY, like filthy disgusting. I could tell the rags had been left behind for months because they were crusty and stiff.
The first few months were fine; maintenance would come pretty quickly but we sometimes had to put in multiple requests for the same issue ...
(they'd have to come multiple times because they didn't fix the issue the first time). It seemed like at least once a month we were putting in a maintenance request, but we didn't think much of it because we are very low-maintenance, easy-going people - it was no big deal. We were still planning on renewing our lease for another year.
However, within the last 3-4 weeks, we have had back to back non-stop issues in our apartment. Roaches, termites, lights stopped working, toilets stopped flushing, fridge broke, dryer broke, balcony door broke, etc. Mind you, we have never once missed a payment or paid late, so the electric/water issues were not due to the fact that anything was shut off. Stuff just keeps breaking now that we are nearing the end of our lease. Also I did have a package stolen from the package room one time, but that was the only time I had an issue with a delivery and since then they have switched to a different package room security system.
Overall, I'd recommend this place if you are a low-maintenance person who doesn't care too much about constantly having to put in requests or having to get rid of roaches. It was a good starting/first apartment; I'd recommend it if you are in college or fresh out of college trying to save some money. The price of the rent here is good and the complex itself is pretty nice (the pools and grills are nice, the gym is okay, nice area for walking, etc.).
I will also say that we live in a "partially" renovated apartment instead of a fully renovated one, and I think that makes all the difference. So, by far, not the worst place to live, but we won't be renewing.

Been here 2 years. I have had 2 roommates cars towed for dumb reasaons. 1 expired tags that were in the mail, and the other for parked too long in the same spot (out of town for work)
Management is a jake. Package room has been broken people get things stolen. Maintenance sucks.

This place is awful. The package room is a joke. Several of my packages have been stolen. The last package I picked up was opened like someone had gone through it. And I pay for this privilege of being stolen from. Currently my medication was delivered to the package room but the hello package system is down and no one can get in the room apparently. This is very expensive medicine that has to be refrigerated. I have no idea how I am going to pay to replace this. It's unacceptable. I feel they ...

The absolute worst complex in tampa

The trash compactor is a mile away from the apartments so trash everywhere all the time. Months and multiple maintenance requests before they send sombody out and whenbthey do they just go in your apartment regardless of the clear direction of nobody to enter unless the residents are home they just let themselves right in twice now! Moldy nasty ac units inside the apartment just to much negative stuff to even list. Just save yourself the time and money.. a real real bad place to live!

Mice/Flooding/Maintenance

My roommate and I moved a little less than a month ago into the back side of building 3. So far we’ve experienced an infestation of roaches, ants and possible mice. Pest control was sent out once so far and resolved our issue of the roaches. Shortly after that, we had issues with the dryer and now washer machine that has not been taken care of by the maintenance team. 2 weeks into living here, there was noise coming from the walls and evidence of mice droppings in our kitchen. and needs to be addressed. The leasing staff is aware and are wonderful to speak with. But it is maintenance that contributes to our not so pleasant experience at Bayvue. The fact that there is another review on an issue with the mice in building 3 and flooding in the walkway, proves nothing is being done.

Mice problem, Flooded walkway

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years now (moving when my lease is up) . There has been a constant flood problem walking to the back of Building 3. Rain season it’s horrible ! Now for the last 3 months I’ve had a MICR issue , there bead mice all in the grass/dirt area near building 3. They have Pest Control come spray and out down 2 traps . I’ve caught 4 mice and no one seems to care.

Best apartment for the price in the area. New appliances and quiet complex with a pond and lots of ducks. Maintenance guys do a great job anytime I need anything and keep the place clean.

I recently moved into Bayvue. My experience has been very positive beginning with representative Raphael. Very professional and knowledgeable. The management Team Angel & Elizabeth have been very helpful with any questions or concerns along with the rest of staff. Maintenance representatives Dayron and Carlos have truly been helpful whenever I put in a work order. They resolve issues quickly and efficiently. The location is great!! Near favorite stores and beach Bay Area.
