ROACHES EVERYWHERE AND MANAGEMENT SUCKS!!!!
November 4, 2025Roaches are SO BAD HERE. I’ve never seen anything like it before in my life. I’m scarred. For life. The paint job inside the apartments are awful, they painted over previous tenants finger nail / toe nail clippings, old hair, etc. the vents also have mold in them and they’re so dirty but according to management “there’s nothing they can do about it”. Speaking of management, THEY ARE AWFUL. The ladies in the leasing office are so disgustingly rude. The owner, Nancy Zuniga and Melissa are so rude ...and are incapable of speaking like adults. September 7, 2025I’ve been living at The Brook on Bay Area for over a year now and couldn’t be happier, and I recently just renewed my lease.The management team is super responsive and genuinely cares about the residents. Megan was excellent, she helped me out with everything I needed for my new journey with them. From helping me get a renters insurance to connecting me with a new electric company. Maintenance requests are handled quickly—usually within 24 hours, Oscar is super kind and helpful he gets the job ...done! The location is perfect: grocery stores, and a great selection of restaurants. The building is quiet, clean, and feels very safe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free renting experience. August 24, 2025Rent is cheap that’s really the only good thing I would say. There is a roach problem. We have been struggling for 2 years with the roaches, not necessarily infested but I see more roaches than I am comfortable with. The water is consistently being “worked on” sometimes with no notice, you just go to shower and there’s no water at all. We have had pretty okay luck with maintenance only struggle was them not wanting to fix our hot water, still struggling with that after a few weeks. April 22, 2025This place has an infestation to the point not ever bearable . I’m scared to go to sleep at night . They are all over your appliances. In your fridge!!!!!!! MOLD in the bathrooms . July 19, 2024No me gusta escribir reseñas en ningún lugar pero si lo haré aquí. Rentar en este lugar es uno de los peores errores que he cometido, 1: los muebles de la cocina desprendían sucio todo el tiempo sobre la comida 2: cuando me mudé el apartamento estaba bastante sucio y con ventanas rotas 3: tuve que tapar agujeros por donde entraban cucarachas 4: ninguna de las puertas cerraba correctamente incluyendo la de entrada, nunca la repararon bien ( yo tuve que repararla por que no cerraba) 5: la pisina ...nunca estuvo habilitada 6: me cobraron 250 dólares por haber dejado dos colchones pequeños donde se supone la gente encargada de la basura tiene que levantarlos. Tengo muchos más puntos pero si piensa rentar aquí mejor busque otro lugar. Está a tiempo.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

April 2, 2024This is probably the worst apartment I have ever lived in. ROACHES and RATS take the place over no matter how clean you keep your apartment, management is extremely rude, you have to call several times before you get a response. When you move out, they make it extremely difficult and charge you any little thing they can. This place should be everyone last resort. The roaches were so bad they were crawling on me when I slept and literally jumping in my food when I tried to eat. October 25, 2023I have lived here going on 3 years, first in cheap first floor apt with no upgrades...now I live in an "update" (that's a joke!!) second floor apartment. the complex is old, and very run down, pools have been out of service for years, some are now back. landscape is weeds and dirt for most of the complex. The office is newley revonated, freshly landscaped and wasSt the of the art, while the complex is infested with roaches, goes days without hot water, many residents report rats, mold and ...deplorable living conditions. We pay for pest control yet the buildings are infested with cockroaches, we pay for the water and utilities to heat it but its unreliable as best.... we have a newesh management company that has been doing "cosmetic improvements " which while nice...do not outway the other significant problems...want to live in this neighborhood...check the other complexes and avoid this one...Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
