January 30, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comOverall, complex is fine. However, there are a few areas that drastically need improvement. They do not replace lighting when they go out, so there are a number of dark stairwells and car ports. This is very dangerous at night. They do not control the wasp/bee nest on the upper level of their apartments. During the warm months wasp create large nest and very active on top floors. No one addresses the issue even when it’s the winter months when the nest are empty. The garbage area is not ...maintained. There are times the trash area is overflowing, there are times unhoused people are staying behind dumpsters or looking in trash at night. The bathrooms at the pool area is not locked, so there are nights I have seen people sleeping there. The equipment in the Canalside gym is not maintained. The treadmills stop working for weeks and residence of Canalside are not allowed to use the other gym on property. management should maintain amenities their residents are still paying for.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

Also, they false advertise on the Instagram by posting pictures of the nice gym when you have to live at Sola Station to use it, not Canalside. The build has a lot of dusty outside or in the stairs and also the elevator is broken and i do not know if they will fix it. They take way too long to come fix anything in the apt and don’t provide an update. There’s no way to directly reach out to them. The canalside river walk is closed for more than a year. Besides that, good apartment complex to live in. Safe but not gated.
