Please do your research on crime in the area before choosing to live here. My first year here I didn’t have any issues, but right after renewing my lease, my apartment and my neighbor’s apartment were hit by gunfire. One bullet went through my neighbor’s window and into her headboard. Luckily, no one was injured.

community of the crime that is occurring in their complex. I had to inform my neighbors what happened and warned them to be extra careful. This happened around 10:30 at night, and I have many times taken my dogs out for a walk right where the gunfire hit.
Since then, I have seen an increase in police activity in this community, and on Christmas Day there was a murder in the apartment building next door to me. Again, no one was notified of the criminal act of violence.
I’m unable to get out of my lease after all this has happened. I feel it’s my responsibility to warn others before moving here. This complex is more concerned with making a dollar than the well-being of its residents.
