So far so good
May 12, 2023I moved down from Washington State 2 weeks ago and its been great so far. A few issues that needed fixed were taken care of as soon as I could coordinate with maintenance. Its not resort quality, but its not resort cost either, it is way better than price for value I have found elsewhere. Overall a great place to live so far. And the staff that I have met so far are very helpful and friendly.Property Manager Responded

Great Apartment Home
June 9, 2022Colonial Grand at Onion Creek is such a nice community. It is set right off the highway in SW Austin. The community is quiet and well kept. Maintenance is quick to handle your requests and keeps you updated every step of the way. Even in the middle of the night when you call the emergency line they come. If the problem is very server, they call in re-enforcements. Management is very nice and friendly each time I call the office. I am still often surprised when I call the office and they address ...me by my name. They provide small treats for the residents and activities that you can take home an enjoy with your family and friends. This property is more than just an apartment complex-it truly is a home. I love the sense of safety that I feel when outside in the evening. I can safely walk inside the complex and greet my neighbors who are also outside walking or just sitting on their balconies and porches. If you are a nature lover, you can see the deer running in the fields behind the complex or see the many different species of birds that call our community home. There are events focused on the residents to keep us happy all year long.Property Manager Responded

February 4, 2019QUESTION...do you value your sanity? THEN DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THESE PEOPLE!! Everything about this apartment complex is a mess. I've been here since November and its just been one thing after another with this place. Read the reviews and heed their warnings. Don't let them hose you!! Parking? Mess. Office staff? Mess. Apartment grounds? Mess. Trash compactor? Smelly Mess. I could go on forever. And do not get me started on the hidden fees. Whatever you think your rent is gonna be, add ...$200-$300 on top of that. Thats your actual rent!! Ridiculous!!! Appliances don't do their jobs. My dishwasher only washes dishes on the bottom rack. Toilets clog almost daily. Ridiculously thin walls. oh....and....YOU MUST PAY FOR CABLE in the year of our lord TWENTY NINETEEN!! I don't even watch cable but theres no way out of it. While other complexes are offering residents wifi, these people are still riding the cable train. Alright, well get me a VCR while were at it. Honestly, the cable thing isn't even that serious. Poor Management but lots of PEST
October 10, 2017I will start this by saying once they get you to sign that lease, don’t expect anything from them. I moved into this apartment less than 3 months ago and I still have a serious pest problem, I often find roaches and ants in the dishwasher sink and cabinets. It has been like this since the day I moved in and they have yet to solve the problem. The property manager has been very ineffective and unresponsive in her approach to solving my problems. In my opinion she could care less. She does not ...acknowledge residents who are in the office unless you ask to speak to her. A few people in the office are hostile towards me and that’s expected when you deal with a resident who has been through what these ladies have put me through. I don’t ask for much. Just a apartment with working appliances and no pest. I have waited so long to write a review because I believed they would solve this but there deficiency to my needs has left me no other choice. Also beware of the parking situation. Something they make no effort to fix.Property Manager Responded

Garbage Situation is a disaster - so gross
April 29, 2017Every few days, the single trash compactor for the entire property breaks or whatever and garbage piles up quickly. It smells awful and cooks in the sun. People throw cat litter away without bagging it, so there is almost always clumpy cat poop all over. It is so disgusting.Property Manager Responded

Cheaper than most, but not a bargain.
February 3, 2017The trash situation is really bad. There's one dumpster and it breaks and clogs and then people pile stuff outside on the sidewalk! Gross. Parking is really hard to find, sometimes the walk is really far from my place. They seem to turn over employees regularly too. If you're gonna rent here ask a TON of questions, lots of vacancies now.Review from Apartments.com
