In my 13 years of renting, I’ve never encountered such rude leasing office staff. I do NOT recommend living here. Recently, my lease switched to month-to-month. Despite having automatic payments set up, my rent wasn’t paid this month. When I checked, there were no payment options available, and the property manager was unresponsive. They demanded rent plus a $100 fine via money order but wouldn’t explain the ...auto-payment issue. This old apartment is infested with roaches, and there’s trash and dog waste everywhere. Athena Worked a Miracle
November 2, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comMy family and I relocated back to Florida and were in need of a place to stay when the purchase of our home fell thru. After calling several places and not getting any help, we found Delano Apts. From the start, Athena in the office, was friendly, sweet, and accommodating with our situation! We moved with our kitties who were stressed out, which definitely added to the overall stress because getting them situated was our top priority. Athena is also an animal lover and saw how important getting ...us into a place was. With each step of paperwork we needed to complete, she was super clear about our next step and quickly turned around her part in the process. She was willing to work as hard as she could to the last minute of her shift and had so much empathy for us, that you'd have thought she was in the same boat with us. Athena was amazing to work with and her manager supported her behind the scenes to advise anytime we had questions she wasn't sure about. Once we signed the lease, they had the cutest welcome basket with treats for the kitties!! It was totally adorable and little, personal touches like that go along way. August 20, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI hate having to write this review since my time living there was actually pretty enjoyable.. but this complex unfortunately has some SERIOUS trust issues. Upon moving out I was charged $90 for carpet problems despite having a clear move out inspection AND also having my carpet professionally cleaned/spot cleaned right before move out. I called to have charges reversed and was told more or less that nothing could be done because they already took the money out (despite me offering to show video ...and photo evidence of a CLEAN carpet and receipt of the professional cleaning done on my end before move out). I pointed out all of the physical evidence I possessed including a CLEAR move out inspection from their head of maintenance. I asked if it included carpet and oven cleaning (since these tend to be standard issues apartments charge for) and they assured me it did and everything was good to go and I would receive my full refund. Which as you can now see, that was a bold faced lie and I am very disappointed to have to publicly share this. I expected more out of this complex. January 31, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comThis place looks nice but when you live here you will quickly see it’s a different story. It is clear by the way I have been treated they only care about the money. They constantly raise the rent which is hard when your pay isn’t going up but the bills are. It once took a repairman from 9 in the morning till 4:30 in the evening to get my A/C running. The management are strict about adherence to the rules when asked about them, but don't actively do anything if complaints are lodged about others. Renters Beware!
October 26, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comThis place has been a huge disappointment for me. Looking forward to leaving in December. The amenities we pay for are not properly taken care of. The pool is always dirty. It is a free for all at the pool on the weekends. The agents on the clock on the weekend keep the office blinds facing the pool closed turning a deaf ear to the craziness at the pool. I had to jump through SO MANY hoops to get in here, but lately it seems they are letting anyone in. More and more it has a dorm feel at Delano. ...I think they are letting parents sign leases for USF students. These kids could care less about us working professionals. Our neighbors downstairs constantly are making noise at all hours of the night , and I smell weed coming from their porch. Oh by the way, the office staff could care less about this stuff. Perfect Location for Everything
January 7, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comI have been a resident at Delano at Cypress Creek for over two years since October 2013, and I have been happily living life here since then. As a retiree, I travel around the Tampa Bay area frequently and this is a great location for access to all the area freeways and allows me to be downtown quickly. The Wesley Chapel area offers lots to choose from in the way of shopping and dining options and there are more places being added monthly. I've lived in many apartments over the years in ...Atlanta, San Francisco, South Florida and New Orleans and the staff here is the best that I have encountered. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff is exemplary. Any maintenance requests that I have entered (which have been few) have been quickly and professionally handled, usually the next business day. The apartment itself is well equipped and designed and has all the amenities one would expect in an upscale community. When safety and security is such a concern in so many areas, I am happy to report that I have always felt safe here regardless of the time of day (or night) that I am out and about. I plan to remain here at Delano as long as I call the Tampa Bay area home.Read More

I live in a one bedroom and it has more than enough room, including plenty of storage space. The leasing office and staff are so friendly and helpful, whether I call them or go talk to them in person. They all knew me by name after only a couple visits. They always help with anything I need. The maintainence is extremely accommodating and helpful too; they always come same ...or next day and if they can't fix the issue they just order a new appliance. PERFECT location - close to the interstate, shops, grocery stores, great schools, and only 25 min from the heart of downtown Tampa. We have enjoyed the beautiful pool area and nature trail. Vaulted ceiling, nice fixtures, the bathrooms and closets could be their own apartments because they are HUGE! We eat dinner on our giant screened balcony almost every night. We have enjoyed our time here!
