Not luxury
April 1, 2025I’ve been here since August. Many problems some still not addressed. The appliances are old. I had to have my refrigerator place replaced already. My dryer was snagging my clothes it’s been replaced. I’ve had an ongoing issue with mold in my toilet still not addressed. The keep making excuses and say nothing can be done, but this is not normal. There should not be mold in this toilet. It was been here since I moved in. I’m cleaning the toilet like twice a week to remove it. They maintenance come ...to say I don’t see any more of course you don’t see mode because I’m cleaning my toilet. I’m not gonna let mold sit in my toilet. Also had an issue with not having hot water when I first moved in. They made 1 million excuses I kept having to come back. They finally fixed it on like the fifth visit during the efforts to fix it, though they chipped off the paint of my shower wall and also knocked down the rubber piece around the bathtub. Didn’t address it or fix it just left my bathroom a mess. I also had an issue with heat. I didn’t have heat for months. They kept Telling me the heat is working fine and to turn on my ceiling fans and run them backward who has to do that to get heat. It’s a small apartment. They’re telling me that my ceilings are too high again small apartment. I’ve lived in a three bedroom large home and never had a problem with heating after four months or so , They finally replaced the thermostat. These apartments could be nice if they would actually take the time to put money into maintenance and repairs. Even the floors are cheaply made the rubber divider on one of my doorways is already warped It’s just aesthetic of luxuryProperty Manager Responded

Horrible staff, don't recommend
October 8, 2024If zero or negative ratings is there, they deserve. This is the first time I'm writing bad about someone. We live in this apartment since long time. Earlier the managements were good. They were cooperative and understanding. This year the management changed. The staffs are really arrogant. I have never ever got such a bad behavior from any management earlier. They don't communicate with you properly, blame you for their communication issues. The property manager never showed up. Pretty bad ...staff. Really pathetic.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Nice apartments, horrible staff
September 9, 2024The front office is only helpful if you are interested in signing a lease, after you sign, they refuse to help you. I tried to submit a maintenance request at the office and they said it wasn’t their job to file maintenance requests, they literally said they were only there to act as leasing agents. This experience explains why I had water leaking through my ceiling and maintenance didn’t come out to check the problem for 4 days. Hot tub broken
October 24, 2022The hot tub has been broken for nearly 2 months. I keep complaining to get it fixed but they won’t do anything. Management keeps saying they are waiting on parts, but at this point it has been way too long. Also, one of the managers lied to me when I called to ask if it was fixed, she said it was working and when I went out and checked it was obviously still broken.Property Manager Responded

October 24, 2022Emerald Park Apartments is a great location. It's accessible to both 580 and 680 and close to BART as well as groceries and convenience stores. While the location is fantastic, the service leaves something to be desired. The cleanliness on property has deteriorated since Greystar began their tenure as management. Stairwells within buildings have not been maintained to the point that cobwebs and garbage are prevalent. A substantial portion of the common area lighting is either non-functioning ...due to either burned out bulbs or damaged fixtures, especially along the sidewalks lining the inner property (many of which are now held together by electrical tape). Greystar is also not very customer focused or centric here. They're not very responsive to concerns and often need multiple forms of communication (like email and then calling the office) before they finally respond. It can be frustrating and maintenance seems to be super disconnected from the office as well. Neither of the teams seem to communicate at all with each other either. When we first moved here, it seemed as though everyone ran a tight ship. Just seems disorganized now. All in all, it could be a beautiful property if they actually cared to walk through and handle what needs to be fixed and were more customer service oriented.Property Manager Responded

Pest problem
May 27, 2022It’s a GREAT PLACE to live IF you don’t have a problem living with many BUGS. Living here is a Bug 101 class. So far, I have learned about ants, spiders, silverfish, and earwigs. The management ONLY could solve the first one!Property Manager Responded
