May 16, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comWe have been living at Glen Meadow for two years, and are grateful for the choice we made in coming here. The layout and appliances were perfectly conceived for achieving efficiency while making this a welcoming home. Sliding screen doors to the patio and windows on every side allow for the flow of fresh air throughout. The grounds are always kept up, and parking is never an issue. We have had very few reasons to request assistance from the main office, but when we have made any requests, they ...are typically resolved on the same day. Every member of the office and buildings and grounds staff who we have encountered have been professional, responsive, and friendly. As residents living here, we can honestly say that the staff adheres to the expectations set forth in the lease. They work hard to ensure that tenants adhere to the lease agreement to ensure the safety and quality of life for everyone here. If you are a smoker, this is not for you, as there is no smoking, toking, or public drinking allowed at Glen Meadow. The cost of living here is competitive with the area, especially when you factor in the inclusion of heat and water with the rent. This location is one that suggests a community, with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. It is fair to say that it is a place where you can feel welcome to have a pet. We have an indoor cat. Our neighbors have dogs. If you cannot tolerate the sound of a dog barking, perhaps a no-pet community is what you need. The animals we have seen here have never been a nuisance in any way. My personal opinion is that the atmosphere here is a neighborhood with plenty of life happening around us, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Glen Meadow’s location is convenient to its center and convenient to both routes 1 and 495, though it is true it is only convenient to Boston by train. We are within walking distance to two different grocery stores as well as a CVS, Walgreens, and other venues. Franklin itself is a wonderful town in which to live. It is rich with history and provides old New England town charm. Glen Meadow is our cup of tea.Read More

July 21, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comThey increased the rent around $200 in 2022 but no improvement to the apartment unit at all. They constructed a new leasing office maybe they wanted to cover that expense from residents. It's almost unlivable in summer due to heat, they have one century old window type AC unit for whole apartment in Living area and that barely cools up the living area. It does not cool the rooms at all, so you will need your own portable AC unit for each room. (Yes they don't allow window type ACs) When you ...have few friends inside it gets worse, you need another AC unit to cool the living area because their very old window type AC unable cool down even the living area by it self. With all these issues you are supposed to pay the rent like other new apartments where they have the newest appliances, central AC, pool. My advice is to keep this place as the last resort and look anywhere else.Read More

November 2, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comi c urrently live here with my wife and two kids and we dont like it at all. they increased our rent more than a $100 a month with one month left before we had to agree to renew our lease. good luck finding a new place and moving in a month with a family of 4. they dont care about the lives of the tenants at all. all they care about is your money. just terrible ppl.
Poor management, rent hikes, poor property management
October 11, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comI moved out a few months ago because they increase my rent by $250 a month with no improvements to the grounds or property. I found that an apartment complex a few minutes away offers fantastically better grounds, buildings, and facilities for $50 less. In the past I have been offered a rent decrease once landlords found I was a good tenant who paid rent early. The staffing in the office is very poor. Often they are not in the office during business hours which makes it difficult to pick up ...packages. Staff does not respect schedules when entering for repair. They can also be very rude depending on the day. You never know what to expect. Apparently the property is for sale, maybe new management will help. The grounds are not up kept. There is litter and pet waste all over the property. There are no cameras so non residents use the dumpsters. Other strange people pick through the trash. I think they rent the apartment to young students who have very loud vehicles. Altercations can be heard at night as well as barking dogs. Maybe this would be a good place for a student. Why I love where I live
August 10, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comI like the location , I work five minutes away which means I can walk if I what to. Speaking of walking my husband and I enjoy walking around the neighborhood. The grocery store is near by, along with my bank. There is a space to bring your dogs to run, picnic tables and grills to enjoy. We like that we don't have to shovel or plow out in the winter.
