September 29, 2015This building has got all the best amenities, from a children's play room, to a gym and laundry on site. Not to mention the grocery store is right downstairs, there's a parking garage, and 24 hour doorman service. Whenever there are issues in the building they fix them as swiftly as they can. This might be the best building I've lived in in NEw York. I have a 1 bedroom and it's very spacious. They are also pet (small) friendly! Conveniently located by the trains also. August 11, 2015Moda Upgraded Living is a great apartment home. Their 24 hour door man is the highlight for me. They learn all the residents so that if someone comes in they don't know they sign them in. Also, it is conviently located next to a grocery store with very fresh fruits and meats. And it is only a block from the subway into Manhattan! As a brand new resident of New York, the Moda has lived up to all expectations.Review from Apartments.com
MODA UPGRADED LIVING
July 27, 2015MODA is an amazing building that is modern with great amenities . I still believe that rent is a little to high but I've been here for the last three years . I'm in a one bedroom apt. With my daughter who is 4years old now . She loves the playroom which is available on the 2nd floor. Plus rooftop is awesome as well ! Lived here 2 years, great addition to neighborhood but $$
May 23, 2013I have lived at MODA for 2 years after coming to NYC from Chicago. 2 blocks to E,F, and J train, less than 10 minutes to LIRR and AirTrain direct to airport. The building is quiet (at least, has been for me) and I feel it's well-insulated. The price, for the area, is high. They are charging for the convenience & amenities, versus neighborhood. You could get a 1 bedroom in Jamaica (elsewhere) for probably $300-$500/month less. It comes down to the quality of life you're looking for. If Jamaica is ...a neighborhood you'd consider, you should check it out. But be forewarned, prices may surprise you for being so far out of Manhattan.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Nice apartment but the staff was not very attentive to my needs.
April 14, 2014It's a nice apartment in comparison for the area. The staff were my only complaint. When I called to set up a appointment I had to persuade the tour guide to schedule a time. When I did arrive, traveling from out of state to view this apartment, the tour guide looked at me from behind the glass wall, continued to work, and once she realized I wasn't leave decided to yell "give me a second" still from behind the wall.
