I was not excited about living in an apartment and after looking at many in Georgetown, I was even less excited. We drove by The Mill after a nice dinner at PePe's and drove through the property. It felt nice...even peaceful. We got a great 2 bed 2 bath corner unit on the ground floor and it truly became home for us for 2 1/2 years. The Mill is well built, well run and well ...maintained. May 18, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comWhere do I even start? Two years at the mill and started great when Faith was there. Always answered our questions in a timely manor and was always amazing to deal with. Once she left and I had to start dealing with Samantha, I was ready to leave. Gave me attitude when I wasnt given a pool pass when I moved in because I had copies of keys made the day I moved in. She was always rude and always gave me attitude, even with the simplest requests. Maintenance is amazing, I will give them that. But ...it took them 2 months is the middle of winter to fix my heat, had a 6in crack in my bedroom door from the previous tenants that was just mudded over when I moved in, floors and stove were filthy when I moved in, took them almost my full year lease to get me a screen that was missing on a window from the day we moved in. I could go on forever but save yourself some MONEY and do not lease from here. Its majorly overpriced from what youre given. Oh, and parking is a complete joke. October 17, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comHorrible place to live. Noisy and your neighbors suck. They stomp they kick and they run and slam doors. This goes on day and sometimes until after 10 pm. The buildings have algae on them and garbage and bags of garbage sitting on the ground. Gross.

Broken railings are never fixed. Every new set of managers has different lies to tell when you question them. Rent is really too high for what you get. Beware, this is not Shangri la.

Not only is The Mill a new, 5 year old apartment complex, but it also has the updated, modern look of a 5 year old apartment in 21st century. The nice hard wood floors, your choice of dark or light wood cabinets, clean and new carpet, and updated GE kitchen appliances. Even better, every unit has a W/D, walk-in closets, nice sized rooms, lots of storage space, and updated bathrooms. My favorite is the master ...bedroom walk-in shower. Good management. Good maintenance people. Good upkeep. A pool and fitness center. Safe and quiet complex. The Mill has everything. In addition, to being 1 - 5 minutes from everything you need like grocery stores, restaurants, banks, gas stations, alcohol stores, cellphone stores, beauty stores, hardware stores, etc. It's also only 15-20 minutes from Lexington. These are all of the things I wanted moving into my first apartment right out of college. I'd say I am very happy and pleased with my choice.Read More
Good Experience
November 17, 2014 - Review from Apartments.comLikely the best apartment experience I've had, but it wasn't without it's problems. Walls seem to be pretty thin, first neighbor I could hear taking a shower and talking on his phone; second neighbor you can hear dogs yapping through the wall. Beware of units that have had previous chain smokers... no matter how much paint is placed on the walls, new carpet, etc. everything I own pretty much smells like stake cigarettes now. Air cleaners have helped, but I will still have to have rugs ...professionally cleaned and wash every piece of clothing after moving out. Office staff have all been great, but they have rotated in and out quite a bit in just a short time. Rent seems high for the area. Beware of units closest to the street and the shopping developments - you'll get a nice awaking to forklifts each morning and mufflerless cars going up and down Magnolia. Overall, not a bad place - I would still recommend - just be on the watch for aforementioned items.Read More

December 16, 2014 - Review from Apartments.comI have lived at the Mill for over a year and love it! I am from Cincinnati and moved here to work at Toyota. The Mill is the nicest community in all of Georgetown and I love calling it home. They even do events for the people who live here and took a bus of residents to a breakfast and Keeneland, so much fun!
