I've been here for a little over three years, and it has been peaceful for the most part. The maintenance team is responsive and quick to handle any issues, which we really appreciate. The community itself is esthetically pleasing, especially the pond views. Our two-bedroom apartment is spacious, with large bedrooms and en suite bathrooms that add extra comfort and ...convenience. Overall, it’s been a positive living experience and we’ve truly enjoyed our time here. You Deserve Better than Summit Pointe
May 4, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comWe can’t overstate how disappointing our experience was with Summit Pointe Apartments in Greenwood, IN. We initially had high hopes of living there. At the beginning, everything seemed to be moving forward smoothly—until, without explanation, something changed. The tone from the office shifted noticeably, and the two staff members we had been working with appeared to reverse their opinion of us as potential residents. What caused that change was never communicated. From that point on, we ...experienced a lack of responsiveness, missed callbacks, and what felt like a disregard for basic professionalism. Our requests for updates were largely ignored, leaving us uncertain and frustrated throughout the process. To be specific: when we first applied, the team was cordial and helpful. We followed every instruction. The screening company they use approved us conditionally, pending identity verification. We promptly returned with our driver’s licenses and completed that step in person. But during that second visit, the entire atmosphere changed. Staff avoided eye contact, communication was minimal, and after our IDs were copied, no further explanation or guidance was offered. After that, no one followed up with us. We waited—and waited—without answers. When we reached out, we were told there was nothing more they could do. We were also told our administrative fee would be refunded if we were not approved. As of now, we are still waiting for that refund. For context, we are financially qualified applicants with strong credit and stable income, which made the lack of communication and outcome even more confusing. Ultimately, we chose to move forward elsewhere—and we’re glad we did. At Bexley Apartments, located just about a mile away, the experience was completely different. The team was responsive, respectful, and consistently courteous. The application process was smooth, communication was clear, and the level of professionalism stood out immediately. We also found a spacious floor plan that fit our needs perfectly. The contrast between the two experiences couldn’t have been clearer. If you’re looking for a leasing team that communicates well and treats applicants with respect, Bexley Apartments is a strong example of how the process should be handled. Our experience with Summit Pointe left us disheartened, particularly in how we were treated once it seemed they were no longer interested in us as applicants.
