Poor management company
May 23, 2024Title: Overpriced, Dirty, and Poorly Managed - Maintenance is the Only Positive 1. High Rent: The rent is excessively high for what is offered. Despite the premium pricing, the quality of living is subpar and certainly not worth the cost. 2. Cleanliness Issues: The grounds are constantly littered with dog poop. This has been a persistent issue, and management has done little to address it despite numerous complaints from residents. 3. Poor Management: The management company is unresponsive ...and unprofessional. Communication is poor, and it often takes multiple follow-ups to get any response. They are also unclear about additional fees and charges, leading to frequent billing issues. 4. Maintenance: The only reason this review isn’t completely negative is the maintenance team. Worst Rental Property Ever
May 6, 2024Terrible Support from Oceano Management Switched multiple times within 2 year lease Property Management blames tenant Hot Tub is gross and is very dirty Pool area dirty after people party all weekend Property is dirty with trash Rent is way to high for cheap/basic amenities Gym isn't safe at night Parties or loud music on weekends Oceano loves to enter unit all the time for maintenance or whatever they need with little notice Concrete worked on which was very inconvenient Painted buildings which ...was very inconvenient Terrible Parking if you don't want to pay Dog poop everywhere The list goes on, there are way nicer places to rent for the same price range and definitely read the reviews since they share tenants real experiences with this property. Horrible
August 11, 2020I had a horrible experience!!! Their front office does not communicate well. I had nearly got electrocuted touching my shower curtain, they had installed long screws that were screwed into the power panel. They reward rule breakers. I paid for my parking spots (2) and if someone parked in my spot over night and I had to walk around the complex to get home, and when I would complain and ask for a tow truck driver, they would ask me to wait so they can send out an all call email asking for ...residents to move their cars. Seven months I had to put up with my upstairs neighbor drop his weights on the ground my ceiling for seven months, I complained and all the office would tell me is they are so sorry but there was nothing they could do and to call the police. This happened everyday all hours of the night the latest was 3:00 a.m. Also, same tenant would through loud parties until 5 am and nothing was done. The cops were called three times and once from my neighbor across from me because one of the party guests tried to kick down her door to get in. I complained and again nothing was done. The last and most disgusting thing is people leave their garbage outside of their apartments for days, it stinks and is totally unsanitary. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. WARNING: take pictures of apartment before and after, they keep your deposit( All of it).Property Manager Responded

DO NOT rent here!!!
February 11, 2019Save yourself the biggest mistake of your life and don’t walk, run from this place. The apartments are decent but the management is literally the worst group of people I’ve ever tried to work with in my life. If you live here, don’t plan to ever get work orders filled. Plan on getting your stuff stolen out of storage units, your cars towed from spots you pay for and when you leave they will charge you incorrectly and even when you have things in writing, they will screw things up and send your ...“bill” to collections. Then they won’t return any calls or emails until you are forced to take them to court. This place is a nightmare, avoid it like the plague!!Property Manager Responded

Renter beware
December 31, 2017After 3 months it's time for a super honest review. we relocated from another state so we did this all online, and let me tell you it sounded amazing and perfect and everything we were looking for, well when we got here let me just say it was a huge change and shock We did not get the 3 bedroom with a fireplace, we got a 3 bedroom that someone else was supposed to be moving into, very different from the layout on the computer screen in which i was told they are all the same! They are not! ...flooring it's pretty to the eye yes! But once you get to walking on it you will soon see the glue showing from the bottom because it was drying before they got it laid, air bubbles everywhere, and with air bubbles come holes guess what you have to pay for it! AT&T caused the first whole and they tried to charge me for it until I fought it, second they did not put the blinds up properly so when my daughter tried to open them, they fell on her and one "wooden" pannel broke they tried to charge me for that as well until I brought up legal and then it was all good after that, they did not properly clean and redo the apartment before i moved in, I have found a screw hook up in the ceiling in my daughters room, and we can not reach it to remove it so we will end up getting charged for that. you have to pay to park under a covered parking spot even though online it did state it was free, Here on the website it states its $130 for a garage in fact iam being charged $150 a month. They tell you that you have free valet trash don't fall for that one its actually $15 or $25 a month. Nothing luxury i have seen or found, They are slowly redoing or updating the apartments so kitchen comes with a new stainless steel fridge and dishwasher and a glass top stove, the older apartments have the coil top stoves in them. landscape is not all areas are kept up some in the back are left for months until brought to the attention of the office.TRASH we pay to use the trash right? Well when the landscaping crew and construction crew can use it to where are we to throw away our trash IN YOUR HOUSE IS THE ANSWER TO THAT! Because if you over fill it they will threaten to fine the whole building your in $150 dollars.well how can you fine me when you have no rules posted and you allow everyone else to use it, and yet we are the ones paying for it i see a problem here, i think they need to rent there own trash can for the remolding of the apartments and leave our small trash space for us!Property Manager Responded

August 21, 2017My time at Capella has been a pleasure. The staff is exceedingly courteous and thoughtful. They have been willing to stop what they're doing when their Starbucks coffee station (it's available every day for free) runs out of vanilla creamer just to make me happy. I have spent long hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the sunshine and camaraderie of the other residents. Our work order requests have been fulfilled promptly and competently. It is an inviting community full of wonderful people. I say ...this while wiping a bit of S'more off my fingers, which they are serving right now in front of the office. Sounds pretty good, huh? The Luxury Waste disposal is very convenient for the residents who spend most of their time at work or live far away from a dumpster. While neither of these things describe me, I've always found the service useful when I don't want to be interrupted.Property Manager Responded

And Capella at Rancho Del Oro Luxury Apartment is the area to be if you're looking for that beach getaway or a new beginning with your family. I enjoy the gym in the mornings and at night. August 18, 2017My time at Capella has been a pleasure. The staff is exceedingly courteous and thoughtful. They have been willing to stop what they're doing when their Starbucks coffee station (it's available every day for free) runs out of vanilla creamer just to make me happy. I have spent long hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the sunshine and camaraderie of the other residents. Our work order requests have been fulfilled promptly and competently. It is an inviting community full of wonderful people. I ...say this while wiping a bit of S'more off my fingers, which they are serving right now in front of the office. Sounds pretty good, huh? The pool table and hot tub are also great ways to unwind. The gym is well-stocked enough to suit most needs and, if you're an avid weight trainer there's a 24 Hour Fitness across the street (and you can sneak some extra workouts at the apartment gym).The Luxury Waste disposal is very convenient for the residents who spend most of their time at work or live far away from a dumpster. February 1, 2017Capella at Rancho Del Oro still owes me my security deposit from July 2016 when they took over ownership from Ultris. The place is completely unorganized and mismanaged. No rental agreement was ready when we moved to California from Connecticut, no garage, apartment was not what the pictures show, cheap appliances, broken appliances, and now still no security deposit. There was a shady guy hanging out for hours everyday in the hallway waiting on someone to arrive to let him into one of the ...apartments. I've called, I've emailed and no action has been taken in regards to my security deposit. We were there 2 days before we ran away from this apartment complex as fast as possible.
