Truly Not Luxury
August 14, 2021For the price, size is not bad and the people in the office are nice. Also, other tenants here are very nice. Location is great! These are no small qualities but that's all I can say that is positive. Funny but I was told the apartment was on a lake so when we moved in I was surprised to find that the 'lake' is actually just a retention pond with a fountain slapped in the middle of it. Maintenance seems to be lacking. Upon move in, multiple areas of evidence of large old water leaks from ...apartment above. Two of the areas don't even look like they were trying to cover them up. Any management company worth anything would never let people move in with that present. Now there is a new water stain that seems to have appeared out of nowhere. Clearly there are ongoing plumbing issues here. Also, screened area does not keep insects out. Gaps everywhere as well as taped areas literally on the screen. Breezeway has hundreds of spider eggs attached to the ceiling so I guess they do not maintain these areas? As for their 'valet' garbage removal, it's absurd. Regardless of whether you use it, you must pay for it monthly! Side note: if you dont use the service, the can will disappear from your door but you will still pay. As someone who absolutely does not do bugs, that system is like ringing a dinner bell to everyone's front door and the complex only provides pest control if requested by the tenant. Last thing, if you need to mail anything larger than a letter, you will have to go to the post office or packing store to drop it off. Essentially you do not have access to standard mail service that you would anywhere else.Property Manager Responded

Awful experience
July 19, 2017I do not recommend renting from this apartment complex there are many other apartments in Jacksonville that will serve as a better option with more intelligent management. We were locked out of our apartment because our key broke inside of it for the second time and it was late at night so we called emergency maintenance and he simply told us he couldn't do anything about it because someone put glue inside of our lock. We were then forced to call a lock smith and had to spend a lot of money for ...them to break our lock. A few days later we went into the office hoping to get our money back because their maintenance man was unable to perform his job and they told us there was nothing they could do. We also never received our $50 referral from them that they kept telling us they would "look into" and never did. Another reason to not rent with them, when we moved out they charged us $225 for trash bags in our valley trash bin, that we paid a $50 service fee for each month. They are very unorganized and I highly recommend renting from somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

LOOK NO FURTHER....YOU ARE "AT HOME" AT WYNNFIELD LAKES...JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
October 9, 2015Wynnfield Lakes is a beautifully landscaped and maintained complex convenient to shopping, banks, restaurants, churches, public library, schools, movies and entertainment; and it is located only 5 miles to the beaches. There are sidewalks for nature walks around the lakes and peaceful sounds of lighted water fountains with nature's birds and pet friendly strolls. Each building has extra wide hallways and an elevator in every building. Especially beautiful and relaxing is the large ...exotically designed pool with palm trees and pavilion with fireplace for those crisp evenings with friends. Pool is open year-round and there is wireless access while you get your tan. For the kids, there is an over-sized splash pool with huge water playground complete with slide and sprayers on timer. Near the pool is very nice equipped gym room for pleasant workouts at your convenience. The office is modernly decorated and open for resident use with big screen TV, Keurig and Starbucks coffee machines, and internet wireless access. Staff is readily available to meet your needs daily and after hours for maintenance requests in emergencies. There are elevators in every building and garage space can be rented. Parking is convenient and the complex has a homey feel unlike usual developments. An especially great amenity is the valet garbage collection at your door 5 days a week. No more trips to the remote end of the complex! The whole development exterior has just been freshly repainted and the grounds are meticulously manicured. Your home is your castle at Wynnfield Lakes complex in Jacksonville, Florida. I have found no substitute with all the convenience of location, design elements, and landscaping. There are nine and ten foot ceilings, oversized rooms, foyers, washer/dryers are furnished, stainless appliances and some units with whirlpool tubs and granite countertops. The balconies are screened to enjoy the triple sliding doors to bring the outside in and enjoy those nearby ocean breezes and sunsets and sunrises. Check premiere property at Wynnfield Lakes before you make your final rental decision. I have not rented in over twenty years as a homeowner. But this feeling of "at home" exceeds my every expectation. You will love it too!.....And onsite management is super! You won't be disappointed! September 23, 2015My Husband and I recently got married and have been living in our apartment for about 3 months now. We LOVE it! Compared to the other apartments we looked at, for the same price (or even less) we were able to get a few hundred extra square feet! Its so spacious and well built and the double insulation helps so much with sound. There are only 4 apartments on each floor (two on each side of the breezeway) so you're not surrounded by a bunch of people and it makes it feel more like a home than an ...apartment. High management turnover and stray cats everywhere - but apartments are nice
August 31, 2015I have been at Ultris since it was named The Reserve at Wynnfield Lakes. In the past year, the management company has been bought/sold three times. This causes somewhat of a concern. Communication isn't very effective and it is difficult to resolve issues when the staff is constantly being changed out with a new company. Not to mention, it takes away the convenience of paying rent online because the website has to been updated to meet specific company standards. There has been an ...increasing amount of stray cats and kittens over the past two years. Multiple notifications to the office have been made, but there doesn't seem to be much action taken to fix. The apartments are spacious with layouts complimentary to any type of lifestyle... roommate, single, family. The walls are relatively thick, with an elevator between you and your neighbor. August 8, 2015Love this apartment. This is my second year here and I've looked at dozens of other apartments/communities and have found these are the best. Largest I've found. What I love about their 1 bedroom units is they come with a full and a half bath. So convenient for guests! Full size washer and dryer too, in a utility room, not just a closet! Everything I Could Ask For
July 29, 2015I am currently in a one (1) bedroom, one (1) bathroom unit and I have more space than I could imagine. This is definitely the best value in the area. After months of comparing different places I decided to choose here and I could not be happier. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and it is conveniently located within walking distance of a shopping center. Only a 10 minute drive from the beach, 10 minutes from the University of North Florida, and 15 minutes from the St. Johns Town Center.
