Nothing like what I expected
June 29, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comI took possession of my apartment one week ago. Since I moved in, I've called the office multiple times (3-4), filled out the online portal form, submitted four maintenance requests, and emailed the office with pictures four times. I FINALLY heard back from somebody in maintenance (I think) by email three days ago who said somebody would be by that evening, but I still have not seen anyone. Here are the issues I've had: - bathroom counter needs resurfacing - apartment was FILTHY - I had to ...dust all the walls, ceilings, and reclean the kitchen and bathrooms. Behind the refrigerator, all the blinds, all coated with a thick layer of dust. - the insides of cabinets and drawers are all water damaged and dirty - I cleaned and added shelf liners. - the sliding glass door has a leak between the panes so I can't see out due to the humidity that's gathered there and is impossible to get out. - the outside of the windows are very dirty, and I live on the second floor so I can't clean them myself. - there's a valet trash service, but they didn't pick up one day last week so there was trash strewn everywhere (maybe raccoons?) This was cleaned up quickly, however. - the exterior areas are very dirty (hallways) - the bathroom sink was backed up due to hair. They did respond quickly to this. - I did not receive a card to use the fitness center in spite of asking multiple times. I worked with Jewell. I wish I had read the reviews before moving in. Neither the manager nor assistant manager have responded to ANY of my communications. I know they are going to reply and say "you posted anonymously, so we can't respond to your concerns," but trust me when I say even if I DID post my name they would not respond to my concerns. I wish I'd know all this moving in - I would have chosen somewhere else to live. I will say the grounds are lovely and there's lots of places to walk, which did weigh heavily in my decision to move in here.Read More
Disappointing.
May 2, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comMy partner and I got our keys on 4/23. Upon move in- there have been multiple issues. Our A/C did not work, our washing machine did not work, our dryer did not work. There was a hole in the ceiling of our kitchen, a screen was missing in a window, the master bathroom vent was falling from the ceiling. There's hair painted into walls. Then what really made it worse was the cockroaches in our kitchen. My partner and I saw 10-15 cockroaches in the cabinet of our kitchen and as of today, 5/2 there's ...now some living in my coffee maker. After I went to the main office and was stern with staff (after many missed calls to the office), they got someone over here on 4/29 to fix the problems. However- the cockroaches are still here LIVING IN OUR APARTMENT. And they want us to live here with them until pest control comes on 5/12. With all of those problems the most they did was fix the issues (that shouldn't have even been there upon moving into a new apartment) - then give us $150 off rent. I'm sorry- but they want us to live in this apartment for half of the month with cockroaches and are giving us $150 off. Terrible Maintenance

Only acted once i brought up rent credit and lawyers. I was also told i was going to be given a new washer, but I was given an old refurbished washer that looks like it had been sitting around for over a year. I had to clean it before washing. Office and Maintenance are Atrocious
September 8, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comIf you ever have any sort of issue it will take an insane amount of time for repair or replacement to take place. For example, my AC went out during the hottest days of summer. I submitted an escalated ticket via their website as I am supposed to. It took three days of calling to even get the crew to come take a look. It needed to be replaced it was determined. That's fine. A short resolution was provided, a window unit in the bedroom. That's fine. However, it has now been a month without a ...replacement. Deadlines constantly missed. Being told you will get a callback with an update happened once. Worst Apartment Complex
September 24, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI lived at Westmont until the end of August of 2019 and it has been by far the worst apartment complex. Before I moved in, Ashley was supposed to do a walk-through beforehand, but since the apartment being "renovated" I was unable to do a walk-through until the day before my move in. On the day before Ashley notified me she was unable to show the apartment due to a personal matter. When I finally opened the door, a strong smell of cigarettes covered the apartment, the floors, bathroom, cabinets ...and appliances weren't even cleaned. I tried calling the office numerous times about these issues and left messages, but no one answered for days. When I finally did reach someone I was told to use their online system for any issues, since they can't take work orders over the phone. After putting in multiple tickets for the walls missing paint, the broken porch light that was hanging by a wire and broken screen door you would think it would get corrected, but you would be wrong. These issues should've been done before we moved in, but even after going up to the office and speaking with Tammy (Property Manager) the only thing that was fixed was the missing paint in multiple rooms. If you plan on living here the only way to get anything done at this apartment complex to speak to them in person multiple times about the same issue. After having numerous issues that were never resolved we decided to part ways with Westmont. Shortly before our move out date we were notified by a note on our door that the apartment was going to be completed updated and someone needed to take measurements for the new floors and cabinets. When I dropped off the keys during the move out I told the employee that I would like to be present for the walk-through and I was told that they would contact me with the time and date. I was never contacted for the walk-through which is required per Missouri tenant laws. This makes me wonder if they even got an occupancy permit. We cleaned the apartment and took all of the trash out, but whenever I got a letter in the mail with anticipation of the security deposit, I was notified that we were being charged $75 for damages and trash and also they were charging us around $700 for carpets, which were the same carpets I was notified they were replacing before I moved out. I took a video of the whole apartment after I cleaned the place. We are refuting these charges with Westmont and have video proof that their claim is erroneous.Read More

January 8, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI don't even know where to begin, a couple months ago I put my deposit down on a apartment before my official move in date i was told that the apartment i was going to get was no long available.. my apartment/layout was switched 3 times before i moved in. I have NO idea what kind of apartment i was about to get tied into. move in day comes and i do the normal walk through with one of the workers, she "checked" the washer and dryer and said they work.. there was other problems she pointed out ...that STILL have no been fixed after i have been living here for months. My dryer was broken for the entire first month i lived there. So i had to make other arrangements to do my laundry. I tried to get in contact with the office via phone calls and emails. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an answer out of any of the workers or let alone get someone to pick up the phone. Another, issue i am having is I have been charged since i moved in for a bill that i clearly have proof of.. i was told i would be refunded my money.. it is now a MONTH later and i have yet to get a refund.. or even a phone call back. Also i am still being charged for this bill. This place is very unprofessional and not worth the money you pay to live here, if i could take it back I would. this place is so awful Im considering breaking my lease. January 8, 2019Hi Clair, The charge you were talking about incurred due to the roommate change, It changed a code at the corporate office. They have since fixed the code and removed the charge. I also reviewed the work order history since your move in and the last work order submitted and completed was 11/2/18. I would be happy to discuss any items you are concerned with. November 15, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comMy apartment wasn't ready when it was time for me to move in. The leasing agents were very helpful and tried to ease the pain of the incompetent maintenance crew. The manager (Tammy) was hands off and non existent. Getting a hold of her was next to impossible, and when I did speak to her she was rude and would not work with me. She expected expenses to come out of my pocket when it was her crew that couldn't resolve the issue. Other issues of contention, the A/C in the fitness center has been out ...for almost a year making it unbearably hot to work out in the summertime. Richard the maintenance manager doesn't know how to manage his team. The fountain in the pond on the property went out almost a year ago, making the wildlife ever more present and the pond a cesspool. They maintenance do not check lighting of common areas. Going to the pool at night you risk breaking an ankle, same with checking your mail.Read More
