Aqua Vista Manor, LLC. is the most absolutely pristine, well maintained & beautiful properties inside and out, that you can ever imagine. We take great pride in our business, since it is part of our family and also our home. This gorgeous, classic, American colonial building has been built, owned and managed by the original family for four generations. We are a small, local & family operated business, who care and maintain our property, building and apartments meticulously. We are a quaint apartment building of only 6 units total, but only rent out 4. We are in a very wonderful neighborhood of only single family homes. We are the only rental apartment building within this lovely little subdivision, that surrounds Park Lake. Honestly, most people truly believe that this is just a really big & fancy home (well, actually a mansion)... as we do, in fact have an east & west wing and three levels, so you can understand the confusion! We offer private parking, laundry facilities, an indoor private storage unit, as well as an outdoor shed for bicycles & such, all on site, well secured and available for your additional storage needs! We have so many extra & highly unique amenities, that no other apartment building could possibly offer and one of those is a 3,500 square foot private, fenced in, fully furnished recreational back yard to enjoy! It contains a fully covered canopy complete with a wrap around sofa & coffee tables (which seats up to 10). Since, we have plenty of space to B.B.Q.... we also have a beautiful large wrought iron dining table set (that seats at least 6) complete with a large market umbrella, that lights up in the evening. A tanning area, perfectly aligned with the best spot to get some sun w/ a set of two comfortable, very nice lounge chairs and another even larger market umbrella, that is both transportable and can be adjusted in many ways (also that twinkles in the night). We have a spacious patio with a lovely tiled round fireplace, surrounded with plenty of seating...we all love so much that we will often gather around it to roast marshmallows & of course, make s'mores! This feature is available for use all year round, since it also keeps you warm in the Autumn & Winter months. Behind the patio is 14 by 10 foot raised garden, where we grow many varieties of roses, some beautiful flowering bushes, a vegetable & fresh herb garden! We even started some trees this year to add to fabulous space! Many of these lovely plants, bushes and trees will be distributed all over the property, once spring arrives. But for now they are all living happily together in a greenhouse, installed just for them. Directly in the center of the yard is a giant red barn storage shed, which as I mentioned earlier is perfect for storing your bike . Our long main driveway is located directly off of Broadway Ave, a side street that doesn't get much traffic & is easy to access. Here is were our private parking spaces are, that easily accommodates 7 S.U.V.'s/ vehicles. This parking lot is for tenant use only and everyone has their own private space(s). No worries, Guests & Visitors have more than ample space to park on the side street, just steps away from our property. Since this is an all residential neighborhood, most of the residents have their own driveways and park there, so the street often has an of excess of places to park. Only the front side (north) of our building faces the busy street, which is Touhy Avenue. Our building is specifically built several yards off of Touhy or any street with massive well maintained lawns of green grass all around us. We love to keep our entire property always looking nice and decorated for every season & the holidays, just like home. We welcome you to participate in gardening, decorating and added your own touches, since this is HOME to each and everyone here! Safety is very important to us and we are sure to do our very best to keep our entire property safe, especially during the winter. We have a 24/7 snow & ice removal service that tends to our grounds throughout the winter and they also help to keep everything well groomed and manicured the rest of the year. Now that you know quite a bit about the outdoors, it's time to let you know all about our true gem, this red bricked colonial palace we call HOME. It was built by my Grandfather, a Master Carpenter and Builder from Venice, Italy. He was a perfectionist and would only use the best quality materials to build this grand building, He loved the American colonial style of architecture he saw occasionally around the country and designed this building, as a giant home that was able to keep the entire extended family under one roof. That is how it stayed for many generations and how the third & fourth generations of that same family now own and operate this wonderful place together. We were raised & still choose to live right here too! Please, allow me to introduce myself; I'm Leanore (but, everyone calls me Lea) & I am the grand daughter of the incredible man who built this place. My partner in the ownership of this property is Michael, who also just happens to be my son! We are each very different and specialize in equally important roles here at; "Aqua Vista Manor, LLC."! Michael works in Law Enforcement and has this entire property exceptionally well secured with the addition of security cameras and motion detected lighting at points of entry and throughout the outside of the building. He is very handy and is able to make repairs, keep everything very well maintained & properly serviced and knows every inch of the building, inside & out. We have put every drop of our blood, sweat, tears and every cent of our $ to have every major system in this building updated with brand new, top of the line equipment, including: the entire electrical, plumbing, sewer & HVAC systems. Also we have brand new boilers (heating system), dual commercial sized hot water heaters,& a commercial grade sump pump. We have a new roof & gutters w/ leaf guards, new insulation and plenty of additional updated work done on the masonry, attic and more, to ensure the safety & integrity of the building. Since most of my background was in the hospitality & food industry and am also a licensed Chef and Health & Sanitation Inspector, I am all about making you feel welcomed & happy in your new home & being available to you for service & support. I deal w/ the day to day bills and all general office duties, while managing the business, overall. I am very dedicated to building great relationships w/ our residents & go above & beyond to ensure your comfort, safety, privacy & to provide assistance & support! It is very important for us to provide the genuine care & respect that you deserve. Our culture is one of generosity & kindness & ask everyone to treat each other respectfully, as we are all HOME, here! We also ask that you keep your home clean & well maintained & truly make yourselves at HOME! We'd be honored to have you!
