backdoor and the front door used to always be locked, but now it’s usually kept wide open, so it’s not unusual to have a total stranger wander into the building. Sometimes a key will get jammed and break into the locks to where the door is unusable, and it can take a long time before the issue is fixed. It is pretty common for the dumpster to overfill with garbage and people just have to put their trash on the sides. The area around the building usually has litter around it. There are not supposed to be dogs in the building, but people have them anyways, and they are not service dogs either. The walls are pretty thin to where you can usually hear people arguing or playing loud music in the middle of the night. There have been times where people get into fights in the middle of the hallway of the building over their disputes. If someone is smoking pot in the room above yours then you will definitely smell it. I highly recommend to not live in a place like this. There are way better places out there.
