I've lived at Avion for a year and experienced a lot of the area in the year. This is my honest review of the place. I was not offered anything in return, but asked if I would mind leaving a review, in which I was glad to.
First off, the ladies that run the place and the maintenance guys are what make the complex great. Any issue that I have ever had (even outside of business hours), both teams have worked together and resolved it quickly. This has ranged from keys not working all the way to
...toilet issues. The staff really do care about the happiness of the residents, so urgency is important to them.
Second, the complex is in a nice area. There are no creepy people that roam the complex at night and police drive through occasionally anyway. North Dale Mabry Hwy is the main highway that you enter and exit through, but there are stop lights that allow you to get in and out reasonably. This area offers lots of delivery options, and it's off a main highway so there are plenty of places to shop like Publix, Walmart, and so on.
Third, the staff regularly schedule maintenance outside of the buildings for cleaning, leaf removal, grass cutting, and they even have a company come in and clean the pond that centers the complex. Parking without a reserved space has never been an issue for me, as there are plenty of spaces. It seems like the management pours the budget back into the complex because they make improvements almost every month.
Last, I feel like what I am charged every month for rent is very reasonable for the amenities and what I receive for my rent. We have a very nice pool, a decent gym (like most apartments), a circle path to walk around the large pond, super quick response time for any maintenance issues (which are very few), very friendly faces in the main office, convenience of location, feeling safe for my child and I, regular outdoor maintenance to keep the area clean, regular preventative pest control, and the ladies in the office even host events sometimes such as paint/wine night, free desert, food truck hosting, trivia games, etc.
