Water bill is shared with the rest of the community and bad neighbors who violate rules
January 3, 2022We are still current residents here and thank God we are leaving soon. Thin floors so we can hear everything the people above us do. Weed smokers in the apartments and all management does is send a letter but I have never seen them go out to check. I even went to the front office to report since I saw the weed smokers and our apartment smelled of weed. They said they would come out to check and I waited and they never did. Our water bill is astronomical because apparently we pay the average of ...what is consumed by all the residents. So for us, just a couple, we are also paying for those families and those who don’t conserve water. Our pepco bill is 3x higher than what I paid in a 5 bedroom house. I believe it’s bc the appliances, especially the dryer, are old and inefficient and takes a long time to dry even the smallest load. There is dog poop everywhere. But mainly, when I go to speak to the management, they look at me like I have horns on my head for complaining. I don’t recommend this place at all.Property Manager Responded

Worst apartment experience yet
May 22, 2021Nice community, but poorly maintained and managed. In 6 months of living there, I have had 2 water leaks from hot water heaters that were just "inspected", a flood from a neighbors apartment, I was left without a door knob to my garage for almost a month on top of the place having the thinnest floors. The water leak damage could have been avoided. It took a call to emergency number over 24 hours after the leak was reported to get someone to come check on it.Property Manager Responded

Concerning water quality, and poorly managed property
March 4, 2021Drinking water is opaque and hazy. Persistent rodent problems. Hidden monthly fees such as: $30 trash removal, $100 cable/internet package. No bike racks, and bad neighbors.Property Manager Responded

Poor management, free-for-all complex
August 27, 2019Camden Fallsgrove is a community filled with good residents but plagued by poor, unresponsive management. When we complained to management that our neighbors were noisy and repeatedly waking us and our young child in the middle of the night with loud banging sounds against our bedroom wall, nothing happened. When general community rules were violated, nothing happened. Many residents smoked in front of stairwells despite the non-smoking policy, and people repeatedly chained their bikes to ...stairways and left large items like refrigerators in the hallway-like passages, making it hard to just walk around. There were parked cars with flat tires in numerous spaces, and no one was ever towed despite the clearly marked "you'll be towed if your tires are flat" signs. Residents routinely abused the community trash containers and left couches, televisions, mattresses, bookcases, work trash from their personal job sites (flooring refuse, etc.), and other bulk trash items lying about, making the trash areas dangerous to walk through and downright inaccessible in some cases. When we provided our notice to vacate, we received no acknowledgement from the management office. When we called to see if they had received it and were processing the request, they gave us a cursory "we'll check" and told us to expect an email from the office, which never came. Unbeknownst to us, there was an (easy to fix) error in our request to vacate, which was obvious to the leasing agents but was never brought up until we received the final bill. No one discussed our request at any time, and when we did finally find someone to discuss move-out procedures, they NEVER discussed the financial implications of our error or provided a summary of our account. Bottom line, the management will NOT help you as a resident, will NOT work with you to deal with community problems, and will NOT enforce community rules. They WILL let you drive off a cliff and send you a bill for cleaning up your destroyed car at the bottom of the ravine. I would not recommend this community as it is a poor example of the Camden brand.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Best of the Best
April 29, 2018Camden Fallsgrove is one of the best apartment complexes I have lived at. The location is perfect with a strip mall within walking distance, and a metro stop close by! The property itself is beautiful. I'm so excited for the trees to bloom around the pool, and to be able to sit under the pergola in the back of the property. They also recently upgraded their grills to charcoal grills, which I prefer anyways. The maintenance staff is wonderful, and I always see them working hard to keep the ...property as clean as it is. Every time I go in to the office, all of the girls are so welcoming and helpful. They really pay attention to our needs, and do everything they can to fix any issue I bring to them. I love my apartment, especially my large walk in closet! I plan to live at Fallsgrove for the next couple of years, and am excited to see what the next few years bring! Great Community to Live!
March 31, 2018I have had a great experience at Camden Fallsgrove. The location is great! It is super close to a huge shopping complex with a grocery store and plenty of places to eat. There is a community center right across the street with a playground, tennis courts, and even a bike rental location! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and you can tell the staff really cares about them. I have had to put in a few service requests, but they are always handled with respect and care, usually within 24 hours! ...The front office staff is great too, they are always kind and smiling when I walk into the office. I have nothing but great things to say and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone!Property Manager Responded

Great community!
April 4, 2017Living at Camden Fallsgrove was a total pleasure! From updated units to more than ample parking (hard to come by these days), a great pet policy, and top notch property manager, staff, and maintenance crew, you can't ask for more. The garden-style units offer great patio or balcony and wonderful amenities from their beautiful pool, gym, and business center. You can even rent a garage for your car OR storage! Wonderful Community and Great Modern Feel
October 1, 2015This location is SO convenient. It's close to anything you'd ever need from food, drinks, movies, and parks to enjoy with the whole family. I've greatly enjoyed living here for about 2 years. There's not too much noise for being right next to Shady Grove road. Decent place
September 23, 2015Nice apartment but needs an elevator (living on the 4th floor is horrible for moving and carrying heavy groceries) and needs new carpeting (I'm pretty sure my dog developed allergies to the carpet). Rare Community in Prestigious Montgomery County- Secluded, Quiet, yet Family, Kid, and Pet Friendly!
July 27, 2015Before anything else, let me address the community’s ideal location. It sits directly between to entrances to interstate 270, 3 minutes from the Inter-County-Connector, and a 7 minute drive to downtown Bethesda. Extremely close to the red line metro, then only a few stops to the district. My apartment is walking distance to a number of amenities, but the most important being Starbucks, Safeway, Chipotle, the tanning salon, and wine store. What more does a woman need? The apartment is a 3 minute ...Uber/Cab/Drive from Washingtonian Center and the new Downtown Crown- LA Fitness, Harris Teeter Coastal Flats, Paladar, Pour House, Teds Bulletin, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Rio Grande, Guapos, California Pizza Kitchen, Union Jacks, and more. Fabulous dining and social scene. My spacious second floor, two bedroom-one bathroom apartment overlooks the luscious green grass of the courtyard and the sparkling pool. The grounds are beautifully manicured and well maintained. The superior on-site management team made the application processes effortless and also ensured my apartment was in turn-key condition upon move in. All of the apartments in the community were recently remodeled with a new, modern look, while maintaining their original cozy feel. A few of the top selling points for me were the exceptional quality stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, perfect layout for entertaining, and that valet trash removal, television entertainment package, and parking were included in my rent rate. There is ample on-site visitor parking. Management was incredibly receptive when I had a small issue with an upstairs neighbor. They addressed the situation immediately and it was never a problem again. Finding a budget-smart family-friendly community in Montgomery County is nearly impossible. Camden competes aggressively in asking rental rate to quality in comparison to other apartment complexes in a 1 mile radius. The elementary school holds a rating of 6 out of 10, the assigned middle school ranks an commendable 9 out of 10, and the high school 8 out of 10 according to GreatSchools.org. My daughter attends a private school in Rockville, and I am able to commute from my apartment, to her school, to my office in Tysons Corner in 25 minutes or less.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

July 22, 2015Camden Fallsgrove is a great place to call "home." The apartment is great, there's a clubhouse with a gym, pool table, foosball table, and a swimming pool and grills for those summer months. It is located within walking distance to a shopping center with a grocery store, and within a quarter mile of the highway. I wouldn't recommend this location for older couples unless you live on the first floor as there are no elevators, and Rockville is kind of an expensive area in general, but the ...apartments are relatively affordable considering others I've seen. 9.5/10 !Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
