Robin in the office is super helpful and very easy to get in contact with. When I first moved in there was a small leak under my bathroom sink and the maintenance crew fixed it the very next morning. The apartments here are very spacious for the price that you pay and you even get a garage! I thought there was going to be a "catch" after I moved in, but so far no catch. The only downside to Churchill Place is ...that its far away from downtown GR and you can't really walk anywhere.Leer Más

We were so excited to sign our lease and could hardly wait to move in! We love our large deck with the beautiful landscaping and country view. We also enjoy having our own laundry right off the kitchen. Our 2 bedroom, full baths are wonderfully private for our guests and our visitors can enjoy their own space and join with us when they choose. We have given video tours to our friends overseas and ...family and friends here and they are very excited to enjoy our new home as well. The management staff are beyond compare to any complex we have lived in and the maintenance staff prompt, efficient and informative. Our neighbors have been cordial and welcoming. Wonderful Experience

It was so nice to have all the amenities we needed in our unit, like a washer and dryer! The complex is located in a very convenient part of town with stores and groceries just down the road, yet its tucked away from all the noise. We work night shift and we never had a problem with noisy neighbors. The maintenance staff was always quick to respond to any service requests. Everyone was so friendly, professional, ...and eager to help with any situation. The staff made all the difference! Kim (who worked in the office) was so helpful with any questions we had. Wonderful amenities that include a large garage w/opener, and a full size washer and dryer in my home. Everyone that has visited me says it's beautiful, unique and has lots of character. The thing I love most is how VERY quiet it is! They've definitely went above and beyond with soundproofing the buildings. The maintenance staff is friendly, ...prompt and professional. A special mention to management (Kim) who made the application process very easy and quick. She has made me feel welcome from day one. She answers all of my silly questions with honesty, patience and professionalism. You're not forgotten about after you sign on the dotted line. The staff here genuinely cares about the community. Everything on the property was pristine and maintenance worked fast to correct any problems, which were very rare. It's in a convenient location on Alpine, just minutes from anything you could ever want, but you would never know it; the complex is quiet, no traffic noises or loud neighbors. It was quiet and tucked back away from Alpine just enough to forget about the hustle and bustle which was super convenient when working 3rd shifts. All neighbors in my complex were super nice. Staff members were very nice as well and would respond in a reasonable time to service requests. Highly recommended place for a short stay or longer.

It is the people that make the difference they are awesome. I love having a laundry room in my apartment plus a garage. I looked at other places and they did not include these amenities for the same or even higher price. I moved from a house to an apartment for the first time in my life and the thought of it was emotionally hard for ...me. But everyone here has made a difference. A Hidden Gem!!!

I'm paying less rent here, than I did in my last apartment that was smaller sized. The community is very clean, and quiet. You would never know you are on Alpine, hidden back a bit with a beautiful country setting. Yet so close to all of the stores I love. The hallways and grounds are the cleanest I've ever experienced. I had a problem with my dishwasher and maintenance fixed it ...the next day. The office staff is very nice and helpful as well. Their service is excellent, all of our issues related to apartment were solved with in 1-2 working day. Front Desk Manager Angela was very nice to us for all 2 years and she was very responsive. During winters, they clean the snow on regular basis. Our security deposit was returned with in 2 weeks. If we ever go back to GR area and have to rent, this would be our first ...choice. January 17, 2017 - Reseña de Apartments.comThis is the absolute worse place to live. You are spending more money for bad services. There are cheaper places in the area that you can go for better services. 1. Angela (the front desk manager) is the rudest & most unprofessional person I have ever meet. She starts off being nice for a few months until you realize she does not care. After I moved out, she told me not to contact the office and bother her with a stupid matter that she refused to do after she told me she would do it. What was ...this stupid matter, one may ask? It was asking for a receipt that she promised to send, itemizing my last rent payment that I needed for tax purposes (Even though it is required by law that landlords submit receipts). She should be fired! I asked for her bosses contact but she ignored my request, so I hope they are reading this instead! 2. In the state of Michigan, landlords are required to pay tenants back their security deposit within 30 days. Angela believes she is above the law and sends your check after 30 days (not even post marked on the 30th day but after). It is basically whenever it is most convenient for her. 3. Maintenance: You must put in several requests, call the front desk (just to be told to fill out another request), before anything gets done. Once they complete the task, it’s a quick fix that breaks again within the week, and you must go back to task 1 (put in a new request). 4. Bugs: I keep my windows closed and doors locked but every summer, there is a bug problem. I put in request and they would stuff the windows with toilet paper (which did nothing). One year they brought in an exterminator, but the following years they used their “quick fix” solutions which meant it stopped for a few days until the bugs created a new hole through the toilet paper. 5. One pro is that the area is quiet, but the con is that you can hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING. That can be loud neighbors who walk heavy upstairs, the kids who love to run around or the couple who is having their *special* time. If you want rude service, thin walls, broken items, and bugs, then this is the place for you!Leer MásProperty Manager Responded
March 8, 2018We strive to provide quality service. If you experience otherwise, we will be sure to address the issue quickly. The employee referenced in the email above is no longer with the company. Our maintenance staff respond matters within 24 hours. We have a professional pest control service that comes out to our community monthly to address any reported issues. Additionally, we completely quarterly preventative maintenance checks to ensure that all appliances are working properly and units are in good condition.

August 18, 2016 - Reseña de Apartments.comIf I could rate it lower i would!!! Never rent from this place!! When I first went to look at these apartments I informed them that i had an 8 year old son and wanted to make sure if he fell, dropped something or had an emergency need for the restroom the floors where well insulated Angela in the office jumped on the floor and said it shouldn't be an issue. I dont want to bug neighbors so i checked. However a few months after i moved in I got a call from the office saying they had gotten several ...complaints about noise. I however work 6 days a week and when my son and I get home around dinner time he would sit and watch tv. I being a larger girl dont want to sound like an elephant to our neighbors literally walked on my tiptoes!! The people above me however were so loud I could feel MY floor shaking from whatever they were doing. Angela said that they didnt know who was doing it so they gave warnings out to everyone in the building with kids...... The complaint also included that i opened my sliding door to much!!!!!! When I went to move I called Talked to Fred and gave 2 months notice. I was not informed I had to give 30 day written notice they are trying to charge me for 30 days rent I also turned my keys in to their drop box and they are claiming they never got them. ( But they managed to get my rent from there every month for 2 1/2 years.) They are also trying to charge me for that!!!! Also when I moved I had a trailer there to load. We had been loading all day I stopped for literally 2 hours waiting for my brother and brother in-law to help move the heavy stuff in and they tagged it with an orange towing sticker!!!!!! They say you cant have them over night and ok fine whatever you let me when I moved in but if you wanna be that way fine but it wasnt even there 12hrs and they tagged it!!!! March 8, 2018To maintain a quiet and peaceful community, we take all noise related issues seriously. We contact any resident who is reported to have created a disburance for their neighbors. In situations where that occurs on multiple occassions, we will take the appropriate actions to address the issue, including possible eviction. It is important that we make sure our community is comfortable for all residents. We also have a moving out process that is communicated to all tenants upon their notice to not renew their lease. Our notice to vacate requirement is 30 days. We are always open to discuss how we can accommodate a tenant's move-in and move-in, as we know these are stressful days.
