The Commodore Perry Apartments
The Building - Upon entering the common area you will see a large mural of Matthew Calbraith Perry depicting the battle of Lake Erie.
Perry was the Commodore of the US Navy in the 18th Century. While continuing down the hall you will see that the building is well maintained, with its' polished green and gray marble floors, decorative tables, leather couches and chairs, and real potted plants that lines the hallway. On the left is a spacious exercise room which is
...behind black glass. On the right is the Office and a cozy lounge area that always offer coffee and tea and snacks to the residents. Then there are the Elevators that lead to the upper floors, the doors are original brass(beautiful)!!!!!
The Apartment - it appears roomy due to the 10 ft. ceilings
The two bedrooms accommodate all my furniture. I use one of the bedrooms for a computer/TV/sitting/sleeping room. The bathroom is nice size. The kitchen is something you can very easily turn around in with loads of counter and cabinet space. And Guess What? There are 4 closets in the apartment and storage in the basement. (nice) My apartment is sunny, airy, and beautiful!!!
The Residents/Neighborhood - are of all ages, friendly, and helpful to others. The neighborhood is downtown with tons of people and tons of things to do. 1.)The famous Toledo Museum, less than 3 miles away 2.)The famous Toledo Zoo, less than 5 miles away 3.)The famous Mud Hens Stadium just out my back door 4.)The Huntington Center, Entertainment just out my front door 5.)Valentine Theater, about 3 streets over, as well as all the Shops/Restaurants/Festivals and Culture you can stand. What's Not To Like!!!!

I could continue with this review, but I think I have hit the high points. I love, love my apartment. When I look out my windows and see the skyline surrounding me,the beautiful western sunsets, the lights of the city I just close my eyes and I,m "OVER THE MOON'!!!!!!!!!!!!
