Great Place To Live
November 12, 2020I just moved in about a month ago, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Commodore Perry's great location makes everything downtown so convenient to reach, their fitness center is newly updated with great equipment, and their staff was super helpful in making sure the moving process was quick and easy. Not to mention my apartment itself is even bigger than I thought it was going to be. I would highly recommend Commodore Perry to anyone looking to move downtown.Property Manager Responded

Would not recommend
December 7, 2017Have lived here for over a year. It is very nice to be close to everything downtown. Overall decent facilities, clean first floor lobby area, quick response to work orders. A good portion of the washers and dryers are not in full working order. The leasing staff has recently changed and they are overly inflexible and unprofessional (unless they are trying to get you to sign a lease). Over The Moon!!!
August 13, 2015The Commodore Perry Apartments The Building - Upon entering the common area you will see a large mural of Matthew Calbraith Perry depicting the battle of Lake Erie. Perry was the Commodore of the US Navy in the 18th Century. While continuing down the hall you will see that the building is well maintained, with its' polished green and gray marble floors, decorative tables, leather couches and chairs, and real potted plants that lines the hallway. On the left is a spacious exercise room which is ...behind black glass. On the right is the Office and a cozy lounge area that always offer coffee and tea and snacks to the residents. Then there are the Elevators that lead to the upper floors, the doors are original brass(beautiful)!!!!! The Apartment - it appears roomy due to the 10 ft. ceilings The two bedrooms accommodate all my furniture. I use one of the bedrooms for a computer/TV/sitting/sleeping room. The bathroom is nice size. The kitchen is something you can very easily turn around in with loads of counter and cabinet space. And Guess What? There are 4 closets in the apartment and storage in the basement. (nice) My apartment is sunny, airy, and beautiful!!! The Residents/Neighborhood - are of all ages, friendly, and helpful to others. The neighborhood is downtown with tons of people and tons of things to do. 1.)The famous Toledo Museum, less than 3 miles away 2.)The famous Toledo Zoo, less than 5 miles away 3.)The famous Mud Hens Stadium just out my back door 4.)The Huntington Center, Entertainment just out my front door 5.)Valentine Theater, about 3 streets over, as well as all the Shops/Restaurants/Festivals and Culture you can stand. What's Not To Like!!!! OH! NICETIES - 1. Small pets welcome 2. movie rental available 3. coin less washer/dryers 4. carts to help with the transport of packages or groceries 5. vending machines AND 6."THE BEST STAFF YOU COULD ASK FOR"…….. I could continue with this review, but I think I have hit the high points. I love, love my apartment.
