Connect55+ A great place to live
May 8, 2025For most of my life, my wife and I owned our own home in various states including in South Carolina. And we did enjoy those many years. However, as health issues became more of an issue, it was decided to downsize and try renting. I looked at many places but when I looked at Connect55+, I was happy to put my application into their system. The facility had everything I was looking for including different apartment layouts and sizes. Rental rates are very competitive with other places in the ...area.The facility has many amenities and a large function room, library, fitness center, and an organized activities run by a full time person (and she's great). There is also an onsite full time property manager and a full time maintenance person.. When I moved in I found my apartment very clean. It had been professionally cleaned. Since I am a neat person and a retired health inspector, cleanliness is very high up on my priority list. I was happy with what I saw. In November of this year I will have been here at Connect55+ one year. I am very happy here. And the facility is very close to major shopping stores and restaurants. In the winter, when snow comes, the roads, parking areas, and sidewalks are all taken care of and treated. No more shoveling! I would highly recommend Connect55+ to anyone. In fact, my daughter has even told me when she reaches the age requirement, she would like to move into this facility! That would be great.Property Manager Responded

April 14, 2025We recently moved here after extensive search for a place live to with the amenities that 55 Connect offered. We love living here! The aplication and move in went smoothly. The building is well cared for, snow removal was prompt, grounds cleaned up early spring. Many varieties of activities offered, well planned out and executed. Great Place to Live
July 22, 2024We have been here since August of 2023. The people here are wonderful! Management is the best!!! Anything we could want or need is here. We are always busy with activities. It's not just an apartment, it's a COMMUNITY
July 9, 2024When I was thinking of selling my house and moving to Concord where there was public transportation, I researched many senior housing opportunities. The only other one I found that would provide a community feeling, was way out of my price range. Connect 55 was a perfect fit. I was very specific regarding the apartment I wanted. I waited nine months, but I am in the exact apartment I was looking for. The morning after I moved in, I watched the sun rise and thought, "Thank you Lord for finding ...this for me" Beside the comfort of my apartment and it's amenities, there are different activities each day that keep us moving physically and mentally. Every Wednesday at 5PM there is a social activity that we can partake of, with food and occasionally musical entertainment. Sandy, Doug and Payton, manager, maintenance and activity director are always available and respond as quickly as possible with solutions to any problem. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
