A complete and absolute nightmare from beginning to end. I began noticing bites in November and identified them in December. I notified the office immediately and it took them 1 week to get an inspection and then another month before we got a confirmation letter. I was being eaten alive! We went through the first treatment and I still saw the bugs. They were coming from the floor and up through my bathtub. After the second treatment, they were supposed to be gone. ...bedding, I saw another bedbug the day AFTER the second treatment! We got pest control back out and they sprayed a third time. They were STILL coming from the same places. The office did not inspect the adjacent units, and that was confirmed by the pest control service we were using. It was not until I took matters into my own hands by speaking with all of my neighbors I discovered that every single unit around us had them! The apartment directly below us was completely infested and the office had no idea because they DID NOT CHECK and they were not aware until the pest control service informed them. It was so bad that they were evicted and the carpets had to be torn up. The bugs were coming into our apartment from above and below, according to the pest control service. Our upstairs neighbor chose not to use a pest control service to spray, so the bugs kept coming, and coming, and coming. After 6 treatments total, the bugs were decimated, but still coming in. We moved out on the last of the month and I saw one on the wall that morning. DV was not proactive in treating the entire problem, which led to us having bedbugs for 7 months of living there and they were NEVER ELIMINATED. They even tried to tell us that we didn’t have them on multiple occasions! As far as additional problems, there were a few. A couple months after I moved in, our air conditioning unit was broken and it broke two more times in a year, 9/12 months of non-functioning AC that I lived there. An outlet in the kitchen was broken and never fixed, despite us informing facilities many times. A water leak from above caused many different, dark water stains in our ceiling. We had a leak in one of our bathrooms, so a hole was in between the bedroom and the walls that was not fixed for 2-3 months!
The noise is terrible and constant. Police were there all the time dealing with something crazy! They are not concerned about the needs of the tenants and upkeep of their own facility.
