DONT LIVE HERE! it was a nightmare!
April 29, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comComplete waste of money. Staff never gets back to you. Trash everywhere. Maintenance NEVER FIXES the problems. Yes problemS where there is constantly water leaking from ceilings and walls rotting door frames and caving in ceilings where they just put up a piece of wood to cover it. The apartment does have heat but good luck having it actually work or get fixed. Also hope you like living with bugs cuz they got A TON of them waiting for you to come home no matter how much you clean. Wanna burn your ...hand trying to turn the shower knob? They got that too! Save your money and save yourself. Don’t move in here it was terrible!!!Read More

March 24, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comThis place is too expensive for what it’s worth. We have only lived here for 3 months and we’ve had so many problems already. It started with our dishwasher and bathtub backing up. Then we heard leaking in our bathroom ceiling (which we reported in January) and now in our laundry room ceiling is leaking tremendously, our hallway light is filled with water, our bedroom carpet is soaking wet, our closet floor is wet, and now the leak in our bathroom is getting worse. Oh and our heat was out for ...about a month before they came out and fixed it. You figured they would have an emergency number to call but they don’t. So no I do not recommend this place.Read More

September 12, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comVery impressed with this place. I have a child who was attacked by a dog a few years back. Although this place is pet friendly they strictly enforce the pet breed restrictions. I left legacy due to them not enforcing this and putting everyone else at risk and looked around for months. I can feel fairly assured here and I do not want to hold my child in the house all the time in fear. Thank you Dalton Village for taking control of this and helping my son get his confidents back!! Beware: Bed Bugs!
July 31, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comA complete and absolute nightmare from beginning to end. I began noticing bites in November and identified them in December. I notified the office immediately and it took them 1 week to get an inspection and then another month before we got a confirmation letter. I was being eaten alive! We went through the first treatment and I still saw the bugs. They were coming from the floor and up through my bathtub. After the second treatment, they were supposed to be gone. After purchasing all new ...bedding, I saw another bedbug the day AFTER the second treatment! We got pest control back out and they sprayed a third time. They were STILL coming from the same places. The office did not inspect the adjacent units, and that was confirmed by the pest control service we were using. It was not until I took matters into my own hands by speaking with all of my neighbors I discovered that every single unit around us had them! The apartment directly below us was completely infested and the office had no idea because they DID NOT CHECK and they were not aware until the pest control service informed them. It was so bad that they were evicted and the carpets had to be torn up. The bugs were coming into our apartment from above and below, according to the pest control service. Our upstairs neighbor chose not to use a pest control service to spray, so the bugs kept coming, and coming, and coming. After 6 treatments total, the bugs were decimated, but still coming in. We moved out on the last of the month and I saw one on the wall that morning. DV was not proactive in treating the entire problem, which led to us having bedbugs for 7 months of living there and they were NEVER ELIMINATED. They even tried to tell us that we didn’t have them on multiple occasions! As far as additional problems, there were a few. A couple months after I moved in, our air conditioning unit was broken and it broke two more times in a year, 9/12 months of non-functioning AC that I lived there. An outlet in the kitchen was broken and never fixed, despite us informing facilities many times. A water leak from above caused many different, dark water stains in our ceiling. We had a leak in one of our bathrooms, so a hole was in between the bedroom and the walls that was not fixed for 2-3 months! The noise is terrible and constant. Police were there all the time dealing with something crazy! They are not concerned about the needs of the tenants and upkeep of their own facility.Read More

September 20, 2017 - Review from Apartments.comMoved in and on my 2nd lease. Definitely a great environment for my family. The Manager is wonderful and always friendly. Everyone here is so helpful. IF I do have any issues they are fixing them almost immediately. I have a dog and they have dog park with a doggie playground in it. No one else around Dalton has that to offer. Only thing I wish for would be a few more parking spaces.

The new management is dedicated to upgrading this property and I love what I'm seeing. The only negative I might mention would be I wish the pool was larger!

August 11, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comWe moved in July 2014.Overall apartments are very spacious and this is one of the few complexes that offers 2 full baths with 2 BR units. Kitchen is small but does include a pantry for storage. Structure was built in 1972 so complex does show signs of wear and tear.The plumbing from time to time requires a jump start with a plunger but personally I think this is an easy fix. Monthly exterminator service is provided and I have no issues with any bugs in over 2 yrs. No signs of mold anywhere in my ...unit. Our new leasing agent is very proactive and proving a great asset.My last work orders for maintenance were completed in the same day I filled out request.\ The A/C units are old as well.Mine works very well until outside temp. goes over 90.Blackout drapes and ceiling fans are a big help. The length of time it took to get our pool ready and opened this season was beyond ridiculous.But now the pool is immaculate ,here is hoping it opens on time next summer. Rates are very competitive with other local complexes. Overall I enjoy living here.I firmly believe it is a 2 ways street between tenants and staff/owner.
