Nice wooded lot
August 30, 2023Our move in was wonderful, not hassles. When we completed our inspection form, any issues we found. Most of the issues were handled right away but we had new carpet and have issues by bathroom door, front entry and pantry door for it not being attached. Still waiting on that to be handled...currently an issue for 13 months. This is not a gated community and the A/C are window units located in master BR and livingroom which requires regular cleaning. We rarely had the heat on this winter ...because our appt was so warm but we attributed it to the people who lived downstairs. Only 1 ceiling fan located above dining room table. Nice office staff. Rent somewhere else
March 31, 2022This is a terrible apartment complex. Do Not Rent Here. Since we moved in 18 months ago there have been nothing but issues!!! Bugs!!!! roaches and ants regularly. Pest control has had to come out numerous times and bugs continue to be an issue. The lights in my building have been flickering since we moved in. I have called about his issue several times and informed management. They have done nothing. Yesterday we lost electricity in half the apartment. After several hours they were able to ...partially restore it but was told it would take 2 days to get the electrician out. This morning it's out again along with the hot water. When I called management again....i was told they knew nothing about my previous calls...this is an outright lie, as I spoke to the same person just a few days about a loud electronic buzzing sound just prior to a brownout. This is just the beginning. I could write a book here....save your money, save yourself a lot of frustration and rent somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

April 2, 2022Thank you for your review and apologize for this issue, we are aware of the power outage and have repeatedly contacted ComEd to assess the issue at the property. There are other apartments that have partial power as well and this is creating an issue with the boiler that generates the hot water. Our team has sent out notifications to our residents requesting they to call ComEd to help in a quicker response time. We will continue to keep the residents updated as we know more. As to the pest control issues, if you could please call and speak to the Property Manager so she can assist in scheduling a time with our pest control vendor. Satisfied Resident of a Decade and Pleased with Staff, Feeling Safe
September 30, 2019I have been a resident of Emerald Pointe Apartments for a decade now. Time has flown , I haven't noticed because I have been so comfortable here, enjoying my cozy apartment, the view, scenery from all the large windows and the balcony, and the staff is friendly and always quick to help. I have felt safe and the schools my daughter has gone to are very good schools, she is thriving in activities and developing well. I especially love the walk-in closets and spacious, nice balconies. I have not ...had a problem with the water, heat, electrical issues, etc. The staff is interactive and keep you updated on anything going on. They are good at staying on top of things, doing their job, friendly, and they respect your space. This town has much to offer no matter what stage of life you are in. There are nice big parks for nature lovers, mall, restaurants, gyms, community events etc. I am planning on staying in this town and enjoying what it has to offer for myself and my daughter.Property Manager Responded

September 18, 2019This complex is clean, quiet, and in a nice neighborhood. The office personnel go above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction, and besides that, you can just tell that they are genuinely nice people. Any maintenance requests are handled promptly. Good school district and nice place
August 29, 2019Recently moved in to Emeraldpointe apartments, both the High School and Middle Schools are very good. Apartments are clean and quiet. Leasing process is complete online which is very convenient. Our previous rental history check it took little long time, so Jessica called my previous apartment office and cleared the leasing process. Good thing about these apartments is utilities included. Sufficient parking spaces are available, maintenance jobs are done quickly, it would have nice if we had ...fitness center and swimming. Great place, very good school district and close to Metra and Shopping Malls
August 25, 2019Two months ago we moved in to these apartments from nearby apartments. First of all the main reason to choose these apartments, was good school district. But when we contacted the leasing office and saw the apartments we liked the community very much. Rent was reasonable and moreover it includes utilities, moving process was very smooth. Thanks to Jessica, she was very helpful during the total leasing process. School bus comes right next to the apartments, within walking distance Hartmann Park is ...there, my kids love this park and even there is a volleyball court for us. Apartments is quiet and clean, have large balcony and enough parking spaces are available for tenants and visitors. It would have even wonderful if we had an option for second bath room or 1/2 Bath room but overall we love these apartments and definitely recommend these apartments.Property Manager Responded

August 17, 2019I really love this community because of the safe environment and an amazing school district. Since I moved here in December 2018, I received a warm welcome from the management, since and before the application process. The reasons I moved here was because of a great school district for my children. I am thankful Jessica and Emerald pointe Apartment management for the great professional on strengthening great communication between management and tenants. Not just only the gratefully of the ...school district but also its only 1.0 mile ( 4min) to train station METRA and all other shopping malls in hawthorn center. O-hare International Airport is very close to approximately 25Min. Since I live here, honestly feels so enjoyable, safe community to my family, great school performance for my children. August 5, 2019We moved in at the end of April and absolutely love living here. The property managers were very helpful when moving in and made sure to go over everything with us. Any maintenance issue we've had has been handled at a timely fashion. The area is absolutely beautiful. Very close to the mall and plenty of restaurants. There's a nice big park around the corner. August 9, 2015The location of the apartment is good. Market is close, mall is also close. But apartment is not at the side of highway therefore safe and does not have vehicle noises as well. School district is also good, having top rating as 10. A good park is also close named Century Park where you can jog or can do cycling. Library is also close. Different health clubs are also close. Like lifetime fitness among some of the good ones. Airport is also not far away (ORD). Apartment has good service and have ...quick response in case of required maintenance.
