Never have I met a bunch of ladies who were more in tune with their job and had no problem with going over and above in helping their residents. From the move in process to assisting with everyday tasks, Lori, Trisha & Rose were there every step of the way and always took the time to not only help but to do so in a way that was so friendly and they never made you feel like you were imposing or asking too much. It’s one of the cleanest overall, the apartments are clean, landscaping is well kept and the office staff are very welcoming! Great Location and Great Views
April 17, 2025Moved here from out of state. I’m used to living in the middle of nowhere but have grown use to living near the city. This property was perfect for me since it’s the best of both worlds. Really close to Myrtle Beach proper but just far enough off the beaten path to feel like the middle of nowhere. Rip Off
August 22, 2018Make sure you make 3xs the rent.When I submitted my pay stubs,they determined I was not eligible. They never checked my credit or anything but they kept my fees.All for just looking at my pay stubs. I feel I was ripped off. Roaches
March 6, 2018We moved in and out within a couple of days because of the roaches that were everywhere in and outside! My husband had to put off needed medical care because of having to move again and ended up dying 5 mos later. The few days we were there he had nightmares about the bugs since they were in the vents, the toilet, and all the cabinets and crawling in the disgusting oven! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
October 27, 2017Flintlake Apartments is a terrible place to live. My apartment was infested with roaches upon move in. I spent $100 in bug killing supplies because the once a week exterminator service added to rent is terrible. I could not store food in the apartment for weeks until the bugs were controlled. The apartment has flooded 4 times since I moved in due to sewer line issues from the kitchen. Had to bum a room for a night after the third time because my wife and I both suffered severe sinus infections ...from having our neighbors' food scraps and dirty laundry/kitchen water fill up our apartment. Management didn't even bother getting a plumber until after the second time because they didn't think it was necessary as this apparently happened last year before I moved in due to "not responsible residents". The only thing nice here is the location. Other than that, expect noisy neighbors, constantly barking dogs, and kids running out in front of your car and throwing footballs against the side of your apartment. Staff is nice but not helpful. Rent has went up even after all the issues and this place is well overpriced. More Than Just A Home!
August 19, 2017Flintlake Apartment Homes the place I live I could end the sentence right there and it would be complete but, it would not even begin to tell you why I chose to live here. It is so much more than just an apartment complex (hence the name) we are a community, friends, and family maybe not by blood but family just the same. We have get-togethers at the pool thanks to Flintlake for the gorgeous gas grill they installed just this past May. I especially want to thank Brittany our amazing office ...manager I locked myself out of my new iPhone 5 and I had to reset it up with a computer to erase it. She came to my rescue and talked to the apple rep. Hooked on to the computer wrote down my security number and security question and answers (it's amazing what you forget) We started this around 4:10 and she stayed until after 7:00! The office closed at 6:00 so she stayed for me well after the 6:00 closing time. I ask you how many if any complexes out there would do that I bet you would be hard pressed to find even one!!! Convenience, Friendliness, and Responsiveness
January 27, 2017I have loved living in this apartment community. The staff have always been extremely friendly, positive, and responsive. I've had to make 3 service requests over the time I've lived here and all were resolved quickly - urgent ones handled same day, and less urgent ones handled within a day or 2, by kind and professional staff. Any time I need to go to the front office, I am always warmly welcomed by name. I've enjoyed the location - as other reviewers have mentioned - it's EXTREMELY convenient ...year-round with easy access to 501, 544, 31, and 17, and only 6 minutes to the airport! My furry friends were welcomed, which was very important to me when finding an apartment, the apartment itself is well-maintained, and other residents are great. Loving life here
August 24, 2015We have lived here at Flintlake Apartments for 4 years and cant imagine living anywhere else. The location is ideal....we can be at the beach in 10 minutes and we are 5 minutes away from the airport, the mall,grocery stores and lots of restaurants also....but we are not in a high traffic busy area so it is quiet and peaceful. The landscaping is well maintained and the leasing office staff and maintenance team are very friendly and helpful. Any time we have needed them they have assisted us ...immediately and professionally with genuine concern for us. The apartments are large with a range of bedrooms and lots of storage space. There are 2 pools and a fitness center on site along with a business center.
