downtown office was easy via a number of routes driving. The 836, US-1 to Brickell, or even Calle Ocho. Even better, drive or bike a few minutes to the Metro-Mover line, and take that. If you are a student at FIU, as I was. The bus terminal is a safe 5 minute walk, and it goes straight out 8th Street to the school. No bus changes. I needed this when my car had issues. Low crime. That's important. I enjoyed some of my best years here, with the fantastic restaurants and entertainment, seemingly on my doorstep. Bicycling to the Grove (Coconut Grove) was easy, and beat having to find a parking place. The building is solid, cinder block. You don't hear your neighbors, and It survived Andrew with no damage. The University of Miami was super close, so the Rathskeller and other school buildings were an easy bike ride away. Highly recommend, as someone who lived there for several years, as did most of my neighbors. It's a place you want to stay. I only moved because I bought a house.
