Nice place to live
January 13, 2025Ive been living at glen haven for over 3 years now and couldn’t be happier. The apartments are very spacious nd filled with natural light. The location is incredibly convenient. Also this new management team is fantastic Ms Cathy is always kind and helpful and has made efforts for me to know my neighbors through te many events planned at the community center which ha made me feel greatful and t home.Reseña de Apartments.com
Rats and trash are disgusting -not worth it
January 13, 2023I'm really disappointed with this place. Since before May 2022, there have been rats in all of the trash corrals. I've seen them on walks around the complex too. Both residents and non-residents don't throw trash in the compactor but leave it on the ground in the corral where the rats feed off of it. They also dispose of furniture and mattresses there which the rats hide out in. There are rat holes all around the trash corral and I can't walk in it sometimes due to trash buildup and when I can, I ...have to wait for the rats to clear out before I can walk in it. My roommates and I couldn't throw our trash out for almost 2 weeks at one point and it made our apartment stink. We've contacted management about it repeatedly and they tell us they're working on it but the trash isn't kept up with, the rats are STILL around, and the only thing done to prevent outsiders from disposing of trash and people from dumping mattresses and stuff is a camera which hasn't made a difference at all. We can't contact the office via email or phone, rat poison has been left out and the rats have been walking around and dying in front of apartments, and the smell of trash and rats is disgusting. If it weren't for the management, rats, and trash issue, we'd stay, but this has gone on far too long so we're looking for a new place to live.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

January 13, 2023For more than a year there has been issues with trash and rats at this place. Not enough places to throw away trash OR it needs to be taken every day. Trash piles up in front of the entrance to the corral leaving no room to enter, and people dump large items like mattresses with no repercussions. This provides an excellent home for all the rats! There are nests all over the property, and you can see them running around especially when there is trash buildup. In the summertime especially the ...smell of trash and rats is simply awful. Old and Worn Down
May 10, 2019Terrible management. Over the course of the year we've been here we've had to put in over 20 work orders and they never actually fix anything, it constantly reveals. For as often as the work men stay in my house all day long and late at night they should split the rent with me. They're never prepared so they take forever. Not military friendly
January 1, 2019If you’re in the military, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Anytime your BAH increases, they still take all of it even though civilians still pay the same and it’s not even worth the rent it was in the first place. The staff is unprofessional and rude, I’ve had roaches and bugs crawling through my apartment, and it’s far from the hospital if you’re having to take the metro.Reseña de Apartments.com

They enter your unit without permission
September 12, 2017When they wanted to paint the front door and leave it open for 4hr unsupervised. I sent email requesting that they contact me at least 1hr before the work was done because I was uncomfortable on leaving the door open unsupervised. They still open my door left it open. This was done on multiple buildings on all floor. We called and email and even went to the office to make sure we got the call. GUESS WHAT!! They don't care. THEY OPEN YOUR DOOR.... NO CALL NO EMAIL. i wish i could give this place 0 stars
March 2, 2017I have been living here for two years.... the reason we are moving out is....complex is dirty and management is not taking care of the exteriors and common areas anymore. We begged for months so we could have a decent playground for the kids to play because due to the lack of maintenance (had no wood chips which is what they use), the kids were tripping and falling with some old rags that they had on the grounds. There is no access control so often, people from outside come here to play on our ...basketball court, scream, yell obscenity and disrespect our residents. They drive fast and even if you complaint to the management they can do nothing. Do you work from home? Do you study? Then forget about having a quiet and peaceful day or even night. Not only you can hear everything that happens above you (if you live on the first floor) but if you are lucky and the neighbor above you stays at home with their kids, then be ready to hear them running around ALL DAY (kinda like a stampede) The only good thing about this place is the spacious rooms and storage. Communications between management and residents? Who needs that? They change the policy and never tell you about it. Raises the rent and won't tell and so i could write pages. September 14, 2015The apartments are all very spacious and plenty of closet space. The apartments include spacious living/dinning room and kitchen. The bedrooms are all big with plenty of closet space, especially the master bedroom. You also get extra storage next your apartment to store things like grill, bicycles etc...The location is very ideal for anybody as it is minutes away from public transportation including metro train. For those driving to work, the highway is also minute away so you do not have to ...spend a lot of time in the local roads. The only reason I gave it Good but not excellent is the sound. It is insulated between the apartment as you can not hear people from other units but you can clearly hear people from outside but the traffic is minimal as there is only 4 units per floor.
